Very happy to find that it hugs my smaller Iphone well. Exactly what I needed. I got the retractable leash style (rather than the lanyard), with a nice sturdy clip for my belt loop. It still fits in my back pocket. Added bonus is that I have a stick-on card holder on my phone, for all my ID/credit/health cards, and now they cannot slip out. I decided to get this after my phone with all my cards dropped out of my shorts pocket without me even noticing. (Thank you, good samaritans!).

I came across the Pulpo Leash while looking for a phone harness to protect against pickpockets and accidental loss on an upcoming trip overseas.. The fit of the harness itself is very secure around my phone (iPhone 15 Pro with a Rhino Shield bumper case), and although one of the straps does slightly obscure one of the lenses and camera flash it doesn't seem to affect taking photos at all. The two lower corner straps on the front part of the phone do cover some of my keyboard and camera app icon, but it's simple enough to nudge them out of the way with my thumbs when I need to access them so that's not really a problem either. I haven't had the leash for very long so can't speak to the long term durability of the Dyneema cord or the retraction mechanism but it's been working very smoothly so far so I'm hopeful. It's also the best looking phone leash I've come across, and I like that it fits my phone without adhesive pads like most of the other retractable harness cases out there (which was important for me since the bumper case I use has an open back and thus nowhere to stick a pad even if I wanted to.)

I have a habit of leaving my phone laying around at work. I use a Tile on my key ring to locate it. I prefer not to leave it in the first place where it could be easily picked up by someone else; I have been fortunate this hasn't happened. I ordered the Pulpo leash so I could use my phone on the job while still having it tethered to my belt loop. The grip of the stretchy rubber is good. It's easy to put on and take off the phone. It provides a good solution to prevent me from walking away from my phone after leaving it on a shelf in an aisle.

I have dropped my phone at the worst time and places. Cracked the lenses and even lost one in the ocean. I have a waterproofing pouch with a strap which is helpful but bulky. The Pulpo phone leash will give me the security and ease of use to access my phone

Flimsy, not secure and not durable. The iPhone device falls out too easily from the harness. Tear or breakage on the elastic bands. The rubber strap leash is very weak, easily slip off especially when kept in a pocket. The cord do not retract. The retractable cord broke. The retractable tether is not strong enough to support the iPhone or any device. Interferes with some of the phone finger features. The straps block lens and obscure the phone screen too much when installed, also makes it difficult to take photos. Very light duty, weak support, insecure hold of phone. The retractable lanyard detaches from the reel. Not sturdy, will not last. Torn silicone corners. Not user-friendly, usable design. Poor quality and cannot be trusted with the product. Not satisfied with product's condition, usability and quality as received. Item not as described on the product page.

not as bright of orange as it shows. The retractable line is fine but would like for it not to pull out all the time. It does not work the way i need it to. the front corner straps block some functionality of my phone so need to move them each time. I will be returning. tried it for about 1 hour and that is it. Did not work for what I needed and how I expected it to work. For others it may just be perfect

I have a waterproof phone case and wanted something that would attach around it, not inside it, so the waterproof seal would not be compromised. After using this on a two week trip, I’m going to look for another style. Why? - on the back of the tether is a 1.5” rubber box that holds the string (which is attached to a carabiner and unwinds as you pull it out of your pocket). It is just too fat -maybe 1/4”? It’s as wide as my iPhone 14 with a waterproof Otterbox case on it, and gets caught when you pull it in/out of your pocket. If your pants are really baggy, or you use a purse this might not be an issue. - the rubber straps that go around the corners of your phone are also prone to stick on the fabric of your pants pocket and pull off. I was always putting it back on. Quality seems ok, it hasn’t broken yet. It could be good for some cases where you just can’t take your case off
