I totally echo one of the other reviews here; this belt helps get me through my day far more comfortably and allows me to get on with things I would otherwise struggle to do, especially while standing and walking. It's simple to put on and applies the necessary pressure (which is adjustable) to 'hold things in place'. Obviously it's only a stop-gap while I wait for the op, but it really has made the condition a lot more tolerable. The belt seems well made, the velcro giving a strong hold, and at under £12 the price is excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

The ‘instructions’ are hilarious! Just as well that it’s easy enough to work out what to do without them.I have found that it means I can move around freely without pain, still being cautious about overdoing things.Better value than some others but have not compared.The straps are adjustable with Velcro and you need to make sure you don’t have any of the rough side exposed in your important places! Other than that I find it comfortable to wear.Update: I ordered a second one as I thought it would be good to wash it now and then. The instructions were normal! not funny at all! Tells you how to put it on. I added a picture of the funny instructions from the first one.

Its an effective belt however, the strap that goes under crotch is uncomfortable. It needs something soft to prevent scratching / irritation. And it can push the testicles to one side.

I bought this item for my partner who has been recently diagnosed with a hernia. He was a bit sceptical at first as he didn't think it would help relieve the discomfort. He was pleasantly surprised. He feels much more comfortable since wearing it, and can do more activities than he did without the belt.The only downside is the strap around the waist is very rigid, and is tending to rub his skin. We had to contact the seller as we didn't know if it could be washed, the seller got back to me quickly and confirmed it could be washed. I will be ordering another one for him which would hopefully last until he has surgery.

There is a plastic buckle for adjusting the strap and digs in to the side of my leg.

This belt is worth every penny. My husband was suffering awful pain, couldn't reach up or bend down without the hernia giving him pain. Since the first time putting on the belt he hasn't had any pain since. Brilliant product at much cheaper price than other products costing much more.

I tried this without the cushion and it sort of worked, but not great. So I went back to using the cushion it works brilliantly. I was worried the cushion would wander but it seems to stay place. My lump has disappeared back inside and my occasional sever pain has gone.

Good value and does the job for me though each case will vary.
