Q: normally i wear an 16/xl US size, waist 36. What size should I get?

If you don't have hips or a butt like me get the size you normally wear in leggings, I got large thinking they fit smaller and they are kind of big, I should have gotten medium but I love them and have worn them about 12 times since getting them.

Q: I’m a size 16 which size would you recommend

I wear a medium in all other leggings and read that these fit true to size or big, so I bought medium. Too small. I'd need a large and I wear around 8-11 in jeans depending on the brand. So id say xl at least or one size up from whatever you normally wear in leggings. The waist band is really tight, it's not so much the rest of the matetial.

Q: Can I workout in these? Do squats?

Yes. It is stretches very easily. But because it is made in a cotton, if you sweat a lot, it will show that it is wet. =(

They run a little large, because I was a 3x, and trying to run into a 4x- and they fit me comfortably. Now I'm down to a 2x and going down to a 1x, and those same leggings are rather loose on me. So I'd say they tend to run toward the large. But I love J2 LOVE brand- they make stylish clothes for plus size women that look hot, are affordable, and are really comfortable.
