Fantastic Design For Bicycle Phone Mount
This is a very inexpensive phone mount for your bicycle and offers a convenient locking mechanism to keep your phone in place. The design is genius but would be significantly improved if it were aluminum or steel alloy and with larger clamp size with fitments for smaller bars. The flaws would be that this is made of plastic although a hard plastic so it seems plenty sturdy enough for bicycles but not for motorcycles and the clamp itself isn't big enough for most motorcycle handlebars anyway. If you're looking for a good solution for your bicycle this is a great value product with a great convenient design.

This will work with Quad Lock bases
If you're looking for a base that will work with your existing Quad Lock cases this will work. It's not as well made as the Quad Lock version but it's also a fraction of the price. I've mounted it on my comfort bike that I ride when the wife and I go for a ride around town or on the rail trail. I'm not sure if I would use it on either of my bikes I use for serious rides. It seems to be designed for the usual handlebars, from 1 1/8" down to 7/8". It includes both a dampening device to smooth out the vibrations (don't have a motorcycle to test it on) and a stick on pad for the bottom of a device (with 3M double sided tape). The clamping device uses one screw with a pivot on the other side. I would prefer two screws and no pivot but it should work just fine.I don't know how hard of an impact this will take before it will fail. I don't think normal riding would be an issue. But if you were to crash, it might not be up to surviving it. Because of that I would recommend using a Quad Lock style case for your phone vs trying to stick the base onto your existing phone case. What I'll probably do is use the stick on base with a power bank for longer trips since it can take a hit.
