So much to like about this great tool. I can’t say enough.25 years in professional cooking and I love the innovation of this thermal carrier. It’s even recyclable!For my catering it keeps my food piping hot and protects the cold food. When we go camping, I throw ice in a hotel pan. Then, I use it as a fridge! So convenient.This product is so light, it is easy to carry even full of food.I paid $178 in 2023.You will use the heck out of this if you feed people, no doubt!

If you do parties, cook a lot of food, or in the restaurant business, this is a must have to keep your food warm or cold. It’s a one hand carry when empty and easy to carry with someone when full. Groove lines and indents makes it stackable to save space. The locking mechanism allows for you the secure the door tightly. And over all, is well worth the money.

If you cater, or simply carry foods to the family dinner on Sunday, this is a must have!!!! I’ve seen similar food boxes sell for 2-3 times the price of this one. It’s much lighter weight than the commercial ones, and holds food piping hot for hours!!!! Fits 6 full, or 12 half pans!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

These Cambros are great for so many types of events. We can carry food to events and keep it warm but what's really great is when guests are coming for a party at our home, I can cook up to four hours prior, put food in the box, then we have plenty of time to get ready instead of cooking up to the very last minute guests arrive.

I used this food carrier for a two day event. It was small enough to fit in my Corolla, but still held a a lot of product. It was light enough for one person to carry fully loaded and the latches keep the door closed tightly. Door folds 180* out of the way.The spacing seems slightly too wide so some of my plastic food pans would slip out of the pan “guides” or holders on one side. This may have been because the plastic pans are soft and somewhat flexible compared to metal pans - not actually sure.The divider shown in product images was not included.

This item was not as sturdy as I expected. It is literally a styrofoam box. Also, you will not be able to return this to the seller if you are less than happy with the product or you change your mind. The return cost is your responsibility and it was $285 for me to ship it back (in the US/via UPS)!!! Also, the seller will charge you a 100% restocking fee so read the return policy carefully. So, I guess I am keeping this product I find of poor value and will be more mindful in the future.

As a personal chef going to all different homes with kitchens small and large, this Cambro helps me to keep my food items warm while I still need to cook other entreés - usually one oven with only two racks and requiring different temperatures. When I tell you the heat that comes from opening the latch/door just gives you the confidence knowing this food is hot and ready to be served! It holds both half and full size trays just right and kept stable. I only have used for keeping warm and not for cold foods but it seems from other reviews that this will hold cold temps very well. I especially love the very light weight construction (just heavy duty styrofoam). So very happy to have purchased!
