First impression was there these are beautiful set of 8 soup spoons. Love the different designs and they go well with my plates/bowls. They are dishwasher-safe in my case so far, though I don't plan to use them through dishwasher much. They are mostly smooth - don't love the bottom even though it was designed to be able to stay flat like that. Additionally, I wish they were not so clinky - they make some noise when using against my ceramic bowls. They are also slightly heavier than I would like -- but that is personal preference. Overall I still really like them and would recommend for others looking for beautiful ceramic soup/ramen spoons

Homemade soups and stews are in my meal rotation year round, and I've never had a proper set of true soup spoons. Saw this lovely set of 8 JOBNTZ Japanese Ceramic Soup Spoons and thought I would give them a try.My-oh-My, what a gorgeous, lovely, and elegant set of ceramic soup spoons. When I unboxed them I said "Wow!", they are that beautiful. Everything about them exceeded my expectations. Sized as advertised, the 8 unique designs and ceramic finish colors are beautiful, and add a touch of pizzazz to your table settings. The spoons feel fabulous in your hand and mouth when eating, and are the perfect size for enjoying soups and stews. A great value, too.Care: I do not have a dishwashing machine. The spoons hand washed and air dried on my dish rack beautifully. The product information says they are dishwasher safe, but the spoons are delicate, and for that reason I recommend hand washing them for the best care of these lovely spoons.I highly recommend this gorgeous, functional, and elegant set of Japanese Soup Spoons.

Spoon chipped upon arrival. The one with the open line-drawn floral pattern. The box outside and inside was immaculate, so it either happened in shipping or is a result of bad quality control. I tried to attach a picture, but Amazon won't let me even though the app has permission. Apparently they want all permission for all things all the time or won't let you do anything at all.Otherwise, the spoons are a nice length and weight. I don't really want to send the whole thing back but would rather get a replacement spoon. But that didn't seem to be an option on the Amazon menu. Curious if the seller reaches out to make good.There seem to be several other reviews with the same problem. Maybe order if you only really need 6 for your full place setting, then you've got room for one to arrive broken or chipped and a spare if you drop one.

I love how well balanced these soup spoons are, they feel great in your hand and the little feet on the bottom of the bowl keep the spoon from sliding down. They are so beautifully crafted, the hand finish on each design is gorgeous. The spoon is a milky blue white with brown trim on the handle, the bowls feature different complimentary designs in blue. The bowl is generous making the spoon feel so balanced. I prefer a ceramic spoon to a plastic spoon for soups and feel that the ceramic adds a special touch to the simplest of meals. If you love beautiful practical items these spoons will not disappoint.

These are so nice! Large size, quality construction, sturdy. These are great for ramen or soup. Love the designs and they come in two packs of 5 each. This would make a great gift for any soup/ramen lover!!
