I love this case. the scene on the front is a galaxy star scene, there are two small indentations in the top cover that cover and protect the joysticks. you can either just fold the top over and play with the switch with it bend over or... remove the top completely. it is just fitted by a magnetic strip so it simply pulls off then when you want to refit it , just bring the top cover up to the back of the switch ( see the photo) the magnets will align the cover back the slot on the back and connect the cover. top clsass cover. very good fit. and a grerat price.

I tried several other flip cases before I found this one, and all of them were lacking in some way (some very much so). My desired features were: - Can be flipped open when in handheld mode (with the lid still attached by its hinge, rather than removed entirely) - Fastens securely closed when shut - No straps at the corners of the shell that go over the shoulder buttons, because even the thinnest such straps interfere somewhat with the use of the shoulder buttons. - It is quick and easy to get the console into and out of the case entirely, so that it can be effortlessly switched between handheld and docked mode. This case meets all of these criteria, and is the only one I have found that meets all of them. I love it and recommend it.

Todo encaja muy bien, la tapa si proteje los joystick ya que es más rígida, el magneto de atrás es fuerte pero fácil de quitar pero no se cae, la tapa tiene enfrente también imanes, pero esos son muy débiles, nada que moleste. La parte que va en el switch, es de plástico suave, pero no muy suave, es decir, no se sale ni de mueve de su lugar, tampoco atrapa pelusa, le da confort a la hora de usar. No se si queda en la base, como es plástico, le daría más calor al jugar y mejor se lo quito, pero no veo que caliente el switch al jugar en mano. Eso si, el color que compre, se ensucia muy fácil, sobre todo en donde van las manos, pero se quita fácil con un trapo húmedo. La recomiendo, sobre todo con descuento, pero no si no te gusta estar limpiando, mejor otro color u otra, porque aunque no se vea la sociedad, si es del mismo material, seguro que se ensucia

I tried a different case before I tried this one. I LOVE this one so much better. Pros: - Stand can be used with the case - Removable magnetic cover for the screen - Joy cons are still removable Cons: - Joy cons aren't protected once removed - Needs to be removed for the docking station I like this case a lot. I can be rough on electronics. This helps keep my Switch safe if I accidentally drop it. I can easily toss it in my purse without worry of scratches on the Switch. I take it in the car a lot for use while waiting for my teen to get out of school with no fears on messing up the Switch. On the way to and from school my teen often plays with it. So far there have been no complaints from them about the case. The screen cover is magnetic and kind of "snaps" in place on the back. The front has magnets at the base of the front that keep the cover from flopping around when it is doing it's job of protecting the screen. Could the screen cover potentially pop off with a hard enough fall? It's possible but it is MUCH better than the risk to the screen without anything. The entire case feels comfortable in my hands. It's not overly bulky. I did test it in the docking station and it won't work. There is a small slot on the back that is blocked that won't allow it to fully seat properly. To me that's a minor issue. The case is easily removed if you want to use the dock.
