The use of this hose is straight forward. However, if your spark plug holes are down inside a tube you will get frustrated trying to get the threads to engaged. This because the hose is tied in a knot then vacuum sealed to a flat piece of cardboard; it takes on a permanent curve. No, soaking it in hot water doesn't help.I had to get a length of small diameter aluminum rod to push through the hose to keep it straight. Once threaded into the cylinder head, the rod was withdrawn. The rod needs to be longer than the hose; there's no risk of it falling into the engine.If threading this hose into an aluminum head, use some kind of anti-sieze on the threads. I used brush-on Champion 2612 graphite.

i was really disappointed when i first opened the packaging. it was a LOT smaller than i had hoped for. the way that they had it all wadded up making the deal look like a really sour one.i opened it up and untangled the short hose - it wanted to curl right back up again. they say that it comes with two fittings, but actually, it's just one with a step for the two different size threads. i stared at the thing and noticed 'made in the USA' stenciled on the hose. actually the hose was quite stout and the things that i hadn't liked began to look like good ideasa short hose IS better than a long one. there's no swivel to make it easy to screw this into a spark plug hole. of course not! you are going to be plugging it into your hose and that joint will act as a swivel. having the two thread sizes on one adapter is a great idea too. who needs another collection of adapters in their toolbox. short threads mean easy on-easy off. the more i looked the better i felt about my purchase. these guys know what they are doing. good product.

Grate quality tool but the price is a little too high.

Picked this up to do a valve spring swap on a Hemi. It worked but had an air leak at one end which made the compressor have to cycle on a lot to keep the pressure up. I was stuck and needed it so I made it work but returned for a replacement hose asap. I haven't used the replacement so I hope the day I need it it will be ok.

Works great, holds 95 psi if you just put it in finger tight, no need to tighten with wrench or anything. I used it on my 5.3 ls for my cam swap, I will say it was a pain in the ass trying to get the threads started, but I think that would be with anything of this nature. Good buy.
