Large seal-tight jars are always useful in my kitchen to store flour, rice, sugar, cereal and other items. These will be great. They have a very tight seal, which is essential. And I like that they are taller with a smaller footprint than my others that I've had for years. This way they take up less real estate on my cupboard shelves, which in a tiny New York City kitchen with too little storage space is very important. I'm happy with the price and especially the styrofoam packing in a carton made expressly for these glass jars. They arrived in perfect condition. The carton was easy to open and extract them, leaving none of the typically messy cheap styrofoam mess. This company has thought through all the issues of these utilitarian pieces. I highly recommend!

Convenient for coffee, sugar, and baking soda. When I go to BJ's and get those bigger sizes, you need a container for cabinet store. These glass containers are the perfect size for that transfer. Great seal to keep the products fresh too.

Very pretty. We will see how the locking wires hold up. I am trying to cut out more plastics in my life. Unlike the glass containers made for storage, these have glass(not plastic ) lids with a silicone seal. I have ordered extra silicone gaskets for when these inevitably get stained. If you are careful your food need not touch the seals but I am not that careful. The mouths of the jars are wide enough for me, an adult woman, to get my hand in to clean. The silicone seal is easily removable to clean. I have to commend this company for the shipping packaging. If these get broken in transit it is not going to be because of the packaging. Despite my glowing review, I am not compensated or in any way associated with the seller. I just like to let people know when I find a product that I like.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted glass jars with airtight latches in different sizes. Most items are 6 of the same size. I needed a couple of different sizes and it was looking like I would need to buy six jars just to get the two that I need. This pack is perfect. The quality is great too. The jars feel sturdy. They’re not too heavy. I won’t put them in the dishwasher because of the metal lid attachment. I’m not sure what it is, but if it is aluminum, it won’t do well in the dishwasher. Some reviews talked about cracks and breaks, but I don’t see any of that yet. So far it seems like it will work exactly how I want it to work

Was interested in reducing number of plastic items used for kitchen storage. These glass containers arrived unbroken and packaged well. Bought two packages of the 3-packs and am pleased. Handwashed each before using with no problem. Could be used to store any number of things but am them for storing flour and sugar, so very functional. The gaskets are more than sufficient and each jar has a good snap-shut closure.

I'm trying to eat better but I'm a picky eater so I had to figure out what was best for me so I will actually do it. I love salads and old fashioned oatmeal but I'm an "out of sight, out of mind" person, so I came up with the idea of kind of a "condiment bar" for them since I add most of the same things to both, i.e. nuts and dried fruits. I have limited space and all the bags won't stand up on their own and looked messy. It was easy to think you'd closed the bag seals, but it actually wasn't, resulting in spills and stale products. I love mason jars for storage of different things so I decided to see what I could do. These jars are fabulous :) Just the right size to fill with a bulk Sam's Club bag of nuts but the slender, tall design takes up minimal counter space. These will last forever too! Highly recommended!

Very securely packaged. Nice seals. The jar’s diameter is about 3 5/8 while a wide mouth Mason jar is about 3 1/8. So you can’t use a mason jar vacuum sealer on the cover. Also it doesn’t have threads to screw a Mason jar lid on. These are good for my purposes.
