Saute Pan

This is my initial reaction when I opened the box: I don't think anyone should get the 26cm, I returned it without opening the box because it looked too small! so I got the 28 cm as the 30 cm was not available, and now that I saw the base is not as thick, I am glad I didn't get the 30 cm version. The packaging is amazing! That how it should be, well packed and protected, the box fell down at some point during the delivery and hit exactly on one of the corner BUT the content staid protected. Initially, even before I purchased it, I hated the handle, but then before I write this... I type this review, I read the description and saw it is made of Bakelite plastic which when I googled it, it looked like a very good choice, but, I am afraid it get sticky because it feels velvety!!! it is not similar to typical heat resistant black plastic used on most cookwares! and I have a feeling it will get sticky and rubbery...Time will tell! The cooking surface for the 28cm ( is about 24 cm. To save you time, during my research in finding the perfect Saute pan or deep frying pan I found out that -3 or -4 cm from the top part diameter will get you the cooking surface diameter. so if 30 cm then 30-4= 26cm They do include a screw driver to install the handle, that is a plus. and it is a decent screw driver. I wish if the base is tad bit thicker to spread the heat evenly with smaller stove head, but it is not too thin. Now, I will go and give a bad review of a "stainless steel" splatter guard that rusted even before I use it! I washed it, and hang in a slope but a bit of water stuck in the middle and rust formed!

It’s very good, but at my second use, (might be) my mistake, i use the iron spatula to cook and it causes scratches on the pan. Better to you all use the wooden spatula to cook on this kind of material.

Good quality and worth for the price 👍 Just make sure you will use a wood or silicon spatulas. Don't settle for less if you find a cheap one but not a good quality money worth.

This is a sturdy, well made, perfect capacity frying pan. Back in July, I was looking for an 11" fry pan with a lid that has straight sides that could be used on a glass top electric stove. The 11" skillet met all of the criteria and as a bonus the 4 qt capacity is perfect. I purchased the 11" skillet from Walmart at twice the price that it is sold for on Amazon. After several months of using the 11" skillet, I learned that the Sensarte fry pan met & exceeded all of my cooking needs so I decided to look on Amazon to see if other Sensarte cookware was available. I was pleasantly pleased to find that there are many Sensarte cookware items available on Amazon at extremely reasonable prices. I purchased a 8" & 9.5 egg/omelette skillet, 10" 3.5 qt skillet, 12" 5qt skillet, and 1.5 qt, 2 qt & 2.5 qt sauce pans. This cookware is non-stick, cooks evenly, is sturdy and cleans easily. Additionally every single skillet & sauce pan came with a lid, another huge bonus. I have several very expensive pans with the handles attached to the pan itself with rivets, when the rivets come loose, the pans become unusable garbage because the rivets cannot be tightened. The glass lids are a plus and the larger skillets (9.5", 10", 11" & 12") each come came with a really nice screwdriver to attach the handles. I love it!!! a pan with the ability to tighten the handles with a screw driver is a huge bonus. UPDATE: It's been about year since I purchased this cookware so I decided an update was in order. I still love every, single, piece of this cookware. I use at least one piece daily for my cooking. There is absolutely no negatives to report. Since this is non-stick cookware I decided to invest in quality utensils made specifically for non-stick cookware. This Sensarte cookware is holding up perfectly. My only disappointment is that they do not sell larger size casserole pots, sauce pans (4.5 quarts & larger) or large capacity stock pots (6 quart & larger) individually. I would love a few larger capacity Sensarte pots to complete my set.
