Easy to install and reliable
I've had these contact sensors on my home's main doors and never had false alarms. I use them to turn the lights on when I enter home, and as a security system to let me know if someone opened the door while I'm away. Haven't had to replace the battery and they've had more than 1 year of use. Setup was easy too (you need 1 Hue Bridge tho).

Great Product.
Can’t say much other than, it works as intended. Set it up and forget about it.

Great little sensor
I added this sensor to my bedroom closet to quietly notify me when my closet door is opened. It works perfectly. I was worried that it was refurbished, but it came perfectly packaged with mounting hardware and instructions on how to use it.

Had to integrate with HomeKit to actually get it to work how I wanted
I wanted to use this to turn on the lights in a room from a certain time to a certain time which is not possible in the Hue App. Had to integrate with HomeKit. Was not a huge issue but rather annoying. Also, most of the features for it you have to use with the Hue Security system rather than just a regular Hue device like the outdoor motion sensors.

Not a real security system
It is just a door sensor and works fine doing that. When grouped with other Philips Hue Secure products to form an alarm system, is where it fails. The only thing it does it put a notification on your phone when one of the devices is triggered. The alarm (flashing lights / siren) only comes on, if you go into the app and tell it to come on.Example: It is the middle of night and someone kicks you front door in, you get a notification on your phone and that is it. No flashing lights and no siren. Not a real alarm system.
