this wire (.01mm) is soft and easy to work with as thread and it seems quite strong for what it is, it comes coiled up and getting it unraveled is difficult as it easily gets knotted up, other than that it seems good

Needed spring steel to make springs for project. This is not spring steel. It does not even attempt to return to original shape. Very bad product description. Fine if you are just looking for steel wire.

will not hold its spring when needed shape is made . Very disapointing . Tried using for catch repairs on jewelery. Had spring steel used in past that worked well not sure why this would not . I never heated it...

This product is regular stainless steel wire. It is not spring wire.

Not spring wire, but still very useful. I got it for some small repairs to things, such as fixing links on jewelry or other things that need attaching to (art) where you don’t want to see the wire. (I also don’t want to pay for professional repair so this is a cheap fixer upper.) So it is okay for my intended use, but one star off for incorrect description. At 0.1 mm, it’s very fine wire.
