Can you dunk/hang on it

Hang in it.... I wouldn't advise it.

It is very light and hangs well over the door. It has given my grandson, age 9, hours of fun. When he scores the crowd roars and there is a countdown clock. There is an off/on button, but no volume control. Hope this helps.

Does this hve to be screwed into the wall or door at all?

It comes with brackets that screw into the back of the backboard, and the brackets hang in the door like the thing that holds your reef during christmas.
