Bret Easton Ellis's American Psycho: A Reader's Guide (Continuum Contemporaries)

A guide that, while it undoubtedly has many uses, has its failings too. I myself feel that for advanced readers, the themes explored in American Psycho do not require a guide as such, because it detracts from the excitement of unravelling the work yourself. However, if the themes do seem a little intimidating to you, this is well worth the money.
