The elegant footed Annieglass Square Slab with Pedestal is handcrafted from the same thick and durable glass featured in Annieglass' Slab Series, with edges hand-brushed in 24k gold. Sustainably made in California, Annieglass takes its shape in a 1350 degree Fahrenheit kiln where a sheet of flat glass is melted over a ceramic mold in a process called "slumping." High temperatures enable the precious metal and color to fuse permanently to the glass, resulting in serving pieces that are tarnish and chip resistant, as well as dishwasher safe. (Due to the metal components, the pieces are not microwave safe).
