used the CAMJAM with my hammock setup during several campouts. these devices tied down my tarp, hammock quilt and bug net over multiple days with no issues. the CAMJAM allow with easy and quick setup as well as take down of my hammock. had no concern with the cord losing tension. on several occasions, I experienced 20-30mph wind with no issues in the setup.

Absolutely love these for camping ridge line tent stake tie outs and most anything else you want to use. Very easy and fast to use.

These are nice and useful devices. This particular item indicated there are SIX in the package. There is only ONE. I am not paying this amount for just one. So, two possibilities here. The description is wrong and there is only one in the package, or, Amazon selected the wrong item to put in the package where they should have selected the package of six.

I use the cam jam to tie down my kayak during transport and when fishing under bridges. I also use it when transporting fuel cans in the back of my pick up to quickly secure them and they have worked great. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased a few Nite Ize rope tigheners on Amazon last fall. I was extremely impressed and pleased. I ordered more, 6 of them. One was delivered and I contacted Amazon. Nite Ize contacted me and expressed a desire to make it right. In the meantime I ordered more from Amazon. They showed up but this time instead of metal they were plastic. Next email from Nite Ize is that this is an Amazon issue and not theirs. Although I love the product I recommend against ordering them through Amazon, you will get screwed.
