Very good Quality, great sensitivity, portable, easy to use, water resistant, very robust and sturdy, great value for money, easy wipe clean, good looking

For the price this is a great entry level pin pointer and has helped me locate plenty of small items in the soil. It has a lot of good features - the only thing letting it down is that it is not a true pin pointer - i does locate to the general vicinity and does vibrate/sound more the closer you get but it doesn't tell you when are actually on it. Everything else is great, sits in the hand nicely, lightweight, waterproof, easy to use etc so definitely worth the money but if you are a serious/experience detector you'd probably prefer a higher end version (but you will also end up having to pay 3 or 4 times more for the privilege)

Once I opened the box, I could feel this pinpointer is solid and I cannot wait to use it.

Sturdy but lightweight. Very easy to use and seems to be very accurate. Fully waterproof and even has a built-in light. Great value for the price. I bought this as a add on to the Dr Otek MT-XR metal detector package and am very pleased with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Recently received the Dr Otek Pin Pointer.Build quality feels excellent, nice rubberized texture and good quality plastics used. The belt loop feels like it will last and the lanyard is again of decent quality.Functionality wise; it does its job and accurately pin points metallic objects. It can be used in sound and vibration, just sound or just vibration. The screen while not strictly speaking necessary does what it's intended to some people may like this feature. Inclusion of a built in torch is welcome and proves useful.A Negative for me is the ease of the power button to press, some sort of 'lockout' would have been sensible as it can easily turn on from light pressure.Overall it's excellent value for money, does its job. When compared to the price of the known brands it becomes a no brainer.

After going out on the field and giving this pin pointer a try, it did not let me down. It was accurate enough to detect a few scraps of metal, tin, penny, nickel , bolt and other miscellaneous trash. It does what it suppose to do and that's good enough for me. Combined with my metal detector and pinpointer I'm set to go out and look for targets in the fields and sands. It it a try.

Petit détecteur fonctionnel, bien conçu. Le vibreur est un plus si on ne veut pas le son tout le temps. J'ai bien apprécié le raccordement de la pile 9 v par deux languettes sur laquelle la pile vient se poser, et non le système de capsule habituel. Un plus aurait été le même modèle avec une batterie interne et rechargeable par usb-c.
