BOJACK MEGA/AMG High Current Fuse Bolt-on Fuse 40A Amp for Cars, Trucks, Construction Vehicles, Buses, Caravans (Pack of 2 ANM Fuses 40A)

I used this fuse to connect my solar charge controller in the Victron Power Distributor.

The construction is good. No corners appear to have been cut and one can only assume from that fact that the rating will be similarly good. So very good value for money

Proper fuses of good quality.

Good mega fuse holder (two in the box) which I use on solar battery bank and avoids the issues of the cheaper fuse switches instead fit an isolator switch and a mega fuse and avoid the worry. Just about fits M10 lugs on 2awg cable after you remove one washer (comes with two for each bolt which are M8 size). I use these to hold more expensive mega fuses from victron instead of paying their more expensive price. This gives me peace of mind the fuse is a good brand while also keeping costs to a minimum. Definitely would buy again just wish everyone used M10 bolts as standard. Most battery isolator switches are M10 as standard, and should always be fitted in my opinion.

Bought this to replace a 50A fuse in a 60v Ebike battery and it’s working great now and I have got a spare just in case

Product as described and does the job

I wanted to know the fuse will actually open at a sensible current, so I bought 2x 100A and popped one by putting it in the ground circuit for a TIG welder. It withstood 15 seconds at 160A. I gave it a short pause and then it popped in about 7 seconds at 170A. This is roughly what I would expect. The picture shows plastic melting on one side - it started within seconds at 130A. This does not reflect badly on the fuse itself, it shows that the poor connection with the 60mm battery clip is generating a lot of heat. The big welding ground clamp on the right makes a firmer connection and there was no melting. Other info from the disassembly: it contains a nice little mica window which cleaves beautifully.

Very good value alternative to premium brands. Has shown no signs of an issue in months of operation and I'd be happy to use this brand again

Troisième tentative pour trouver des fusibles de qualité ! Cette fois est la bonne : Les fusibles BOJACK sont de qualité optimum, densité de courant dans les lamelles d'entrée et sortie des fusibles, est au maximum 10 A /mm² ce qui est parfait! Et au final, guerre plus onéreux que les produits de basse qualité issus des 2 premières commandes ! Les 2 premières commandes chez d'autres fabricants (dont étonnamment A.P..T.C ) ont abouti à une fourniture de fusibles de très basse qualité et à risque d'échauffement caractérisé ! La densité de courant dans ces produits basse qualité est de 28 A par mm², ce qui inacceptable et hautement risqué! Ces 2 premières commandes ont été retournées illico aux 2 vendeurs ... Parfait donc les fusibles BOJACK ! produits d'excellente qualité et fiable ! Confiant pour le coup, sur la tenue de ces composants reçus de BOJACK ...

Using one off my 12.8 volt eco worthy battery, it’s working as it should, I guess won’t know unless the fuse blows when it should, I’m not going to force that! So far so good👍

Was soll man groß sagen - TOP Teile. Habe mir die Sicherungen für meinen Batteriespeicher gekauft den ich selber gebaut habe. Passen 1 A in die Geräte von Victron! Machen äußerlich einen sehr guten Eindruck. Bleibt zu hoffen das sie ihre Aufgabe sicher und gut erledigen werden. Habe die 40 amp Version pro 5,5 kw/h Akku genommen.
