SUPERLATIVE DAC
There are enough superlative reviews here and elsewhere about the Gustard R26 DAC, and I completely agree. What few have mention is how well this Dac scales with quality (not necessarily expensive) amp and preamp. In my case, I tried the R26 with my HT Outlaw 7000x with the Dac’s digital volume. Then I connected my CODA #8 and Benchmark LA-4 to the R26. The increase in SQ was exponential. If you want to take SQ to an even higher level add the 2 TeraDak FMC. I will give my detailed impressions of the R26/TeraDak combo on the R26 forum on that website for headphone lovers
