Pole arrived in good shape . First time out on the second small crappie, the pole broke about 8” from the end. It must have been manufactured with a weak spot. Buy a rod you can put your hands n and from a reputable maker. Update: the manufacturer emailed me about my experience and offered to make it right. New pole was here two days later. This is exceptional customer service.

The Kestal light and ultralite rods are well made high quality rods. They are very sensitive and cast as advertised. Keep in mind being made of sensitive materials one needs to adhere to the recommended lines and use. There are higher quality products out there but at much higher prices. However, Price per quality, KastKing is well worth the purchase and should increase your catch.

Tried the BFS rod with lures while fishing for some perch. The size seemed perfect I used some braided mainline and the setup offers great sensitivity and great bite detection. Quality seems good.
