Everything went well, but the trees.
I like this company and the directions are straight forward. The build turned out cool and like pictured accept the trees. They were a nightmare and I wouldn’t include them if I did or again. I modified mine to complete the build. I worked and have bought more from this company.

I’m impressed. A beautiful, detailed, accurate micro-block building set
The first thing I noticed is that there are a many many of pieces in this kit. Coming from the world of Legos, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. KLMEi markets their numerous kits as micro block kits. These are about slightly less than half the size of Lego bricks. The reason is that the KLMei kits, which are frequently themed around one specific real life place, i.e., the Taj Mahal, the U.S. capital, the Kremlin, Suzhou Gardens, etc., are able to better capture the look of these real places with the smaller micro bricks which allow for greater detail and greater delineation of architectural shapes and lines. These micro blocks are made of ABS plastic, which is the same plastic used in Legos. The quality of the KLMEi pieces are just as good and precise as Legos. If you are coming from the world of Legos you will expect the bright saturated colors of Lego pieces. The KLMEi pieces are also very bright colors, see my picture. I haven’t yet started to build this kit because it will take time. The kit comes with a multipage very detailed plan illustration showing piece by piece color by color construction. This entire kit when completed uses a small footprint, as it’s about 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. KLMEi markets their kits for those 14 and above. I say that’s exactly right. It would be for the 14 year old who shows attention to detail, and the ability to concentrate. For that matter, an adult who has these same personality traits would also appreciate these kits. The Confucius Institute, if you don’t know it exists to promote Chinese culture in the same was as the Goethe Institute or Alliance Francaise promote German or French culture. The building depicted by the kit is a historical site in Nanjing. The other thing I noticed is that the KLMEi kits make many pieces that allow for accurate replication of classical Asian architecture i.e. up swept eaves, and graceful title roofs. Compared to kits from the standard Legos or the Legos Technics line, that have a similar parts count, these KLMEi kits are competitively priced. I’m impressed.

Looks like the Confucius Institute, well designed
I am almost done putting this together. I am so impressed with how well this was designed. I ordered the Temple of Confucius and it is very accurate. I looked up some photos to get a little background information on the building and its architecture. It actually sent me down a rabbit hole, so a good Chinese history lesson as well. There are a lot of pieces, but don't be intimidated. The instructions are very well put together in the instruction booklet. There are numbered bags that you use in the order that you are building. Please don't just tear into them and open them all at once for your own sanity. The pieces can be very small so I would not recommend this for small children or supervise while building. It is a nice challenge but not too overwhelming, and it is looking so awesome! The final size is pretty decent too. I'm very excited to finish and my daughter wants to take it to use it as a background diorama scene for her Chinese character Nendroids. I am considering the other historical buildings as my next projects. 10 out of 10!

Great Bargain Micro Building Set
I was very impressed with this building set. It is well made and detailed. You have to know that these are half the size of normal building blocks. There are a lot of pieces making this intriguing. The colors are good along with shapes and sizes. Instructions are easy to follow and well laid out. I had a really good time putting this set together and really liked how it turned out. The details are good and it looks fantastic. All of this at a fraction of what the name brand blocks cost. I'm impressed with the detail, quality, and uniqueness of this set.
