Works perfectly - connection tip - Read this.
This switch works perfectly - though the switch flap is little smaller than the original. You may face 2 tricky issues while replacing the older switch with this one - neither is inherent problem of this item.1. Removal of old switch is tricky. I cut off the notches(on one side using wire cutter) locking the switch to case. One the other side, firmly pry the switch from outside using flat-head screw driver.2. Wiring. The new switch has numbers clearly on the pins, but old switch doesn't. I removed the connectors from the old switch and connected to the new switch in the same sequence, but didn't mount the switch in the slot. Checked if it works by connecting to the wall power receptacle. This would help if you identify if the connections are connect. Once confirmed, you can disconnect and insert/lock the switch to the slot, then make the same (working) connections again.

No wiring diagram
When you remove the old swing you're going to have to wreck the clips that hold the switch in your VM. What you'll notice when you take the old part out is there are numbers on the OEM part. It's difficult to see those numbers when the original part is in the machine. There are numbers on the new part as well but they are so tiny you'll need a magnifying glass to figure out what they say.I noted the colors of the wires and what terminal on the switch they went to on the old part when it was in the machine. The challenge with the new part is you don't know which is up and what is down so you have no idea what color wire goes to which terminal on the switch. If you try to find a wiring diagram on the Internet it doesn't exist. So now you're wishing that the intelligent mfr or vendor of this part would be clever enough to include a tiny piece of paper with the wiring diagram on it so regular guys like me can install this without wasting a bunch of time. Can anyone help me out with the color scheme for the terminal numbers?

It is working well
I used this switch to replace the switch I broke on a VitaMix model VM0102D. The broken switch was the one that starts and stops the mixing blade (NOT the “pulse” switch). While this switch is not a “momentary” switch like the original one and doesn’t have the “soft” rubber coating on the switch toggle, it does work just fine just requiring two “clicks” to start or stop the blade. I later located a source for an exact replacement (with soft rubber coating on the toggle and being a “momentary” switch — it was priced about $10 above this one).
