The pants fit well, which is great since it can go either way when ordering online. However, these pants are not water-proof. I am working in the mountains in Montana, wind, rain and snow included. It is important that I stay dry during cold weather for safety reasons. At first I thought these pants would do great but eventually they did become saturated. These pants will work fine if there is a slight mist or a little exposure to water, but don't expect them to keep you dry if they are exposed to water all day.

The pants were very worn and the tag on the inside was cut off. Sending back.

I bought these pants to use on my hike in Colorado. They fit perfect with room to spare--not too tight, not too loose. I also love the fleece layer sewn to the inside of the pants. My legs were warm in freezing temperatures with strong winds. Definitely recommend!
