If you are grafting trees, this is the only stuff to use over the tape.Other brands may kill the graft.

Spreads easily with a putty knife.
I do not always use tree coating on cuts. Only when the branch cut is 1 1/2" or larger. This product is thick enough to stay on till the tree can heal up some.

Saved my tree!
The media could not be loaded. Works Great! I had a 3-4 inch hole in one of the main branches of my tree. They were surrounded by six or seven 1” and 2” holes. I cut back as far as I could to fresh wood. Then I used the product to cover the holes and the freshly cut wood it held up perfectly keeping my tree from riding away.
