It doesn’t mix with water? So you end up with chunks like wet peanut butter floating in gelatinous soup. The “vanilla” flavor kind of reminds me of chocolate, but with broth up front. The aftertaste is metallic. 5 minutes after I opened it, I wish I could have my money back. Is this product a prank? How could someone sell this to innocent people? It’s inhumane. UPDATE: I just learned from this company that this is not AT ALL a “beef” protein product. It’s just collagen / bone broth protein, so this is false advertising and you are probably entitled to a refund if it was sold to you as “beef”. Here is their response to my question about the source: “This protein powder is not derived from dehydrated meat that is then ground into a fine powder. Our unique grass-fed beef protein isolate is derived from the extracted protein and amino acids from the fleshy bones, tendons, and joints of hormone- and antibiotic-free animals. As such, much of the naturally-occurring collagen inherent in these parts of the animal makes up a significant portion of the final finished powder. “Please find the typical amino acid profile below: “Typical Amino Acid Profile (Per Serving): Alanine 2.1g Arginine 1.8g Aspartic Acid 1.4g Cystine <0.1 Glutamic Acid 2.6g Glycine 4.8g Histidine 2.6g Hydroxyproline 2.5g Isoleucine 0.4g Leucine 0.9g Lysine 0.9g Methionine 0.2g Phenylalanine 0.6g Proline 2.9g Serine 0.8g Threonine 0.5g Tryptophan 0.1g Tyrosine 0.3g Valine 0.7g

This protein is decent Good ingredients Awful blend ability so it is chalky The taste is 8/10 No stomach issues Price for the protein is pretty normal for a the good quality protein No fillers no gums no stevia or artificial flavors so don’t expect some great tasting easy to mix protein. Just suck it up and drink it.

Thoroughly enjoy this protein powder! It’s so hard to come by a clean protein that actually tastes good. I add it to my coffee every morning now! It dissolves easily & the protein quality is great. It does stick the to scoop a little which makes it a little messy to use but the size & quality of the bag is definitely worth the money.

Like many of you, I've been following Kelly's nutritional advice for years and was eager for this product release. After trying both the chocolate and vanilla, I felt compelled to leave a review. I'm leaving both a short and long review because some people skim and some want context. TL;DR: Buy the chocolate and skip the vanilla and plain flavor. Follow the Fab 4 Smoothie protocol with a Vitamix and you shouldn't have any blending issues. Get creative when fishing the scoop out of the bag and maybe have a spare container for the powder in case the bag doesn't seal well. Contextual Review Somethings you should about my preferences: 1. I follow the Fab 4 Smoothie protocol and use a Vitamix to blend my smoothies 2. I don't have a sweet tooth 3. I prefer vanilla flavored protein powder over chocolate for both taste and because it doesn't dominate other smoothie ingredients 3. I would be vegan if my body could thrive without meat because I hate the taste of it 4. I previously consumed a chocolate beef isolate protein powder and enjoyed it 5. I value grass-fed, pasture-raised meats and will spend more money on them without hesitation 6. I hate the bulk and waste of protein packaging Now for my thoughts: 1. I appreciate the effort to minimize packaging waste but I have trouble resealing the chocolate bag because the powder is caked in the seal. Also, I haven't yet located the scoop for that bag. I was able to find the scoop more easily in the vanilla bag, but it took some creativity to move it upwards without putting my hand all in it. (Tip: squeeze the outside of the bag until you find something that feels hard and then gradually apply pressure underneath it to move it upwards toward the top.) 2. While the powder does provide a lighter, frothier blend, I have not had the troubles others have had. My Vitamix blends it perfectly. (Perhaps it's because I'm following the Fab 4 Smoothie protocol so it balances out the frothiness?) 3. With regards to flavor, this is where my review on the individual flavors diverges. While it can be on the sweeter side (and almost eliminates the need to add 1/4c of fruit), I have found the chocolate flavor way more appealing because it masks the beef flavor. I find the beef flavor and after taste of the vanilla overwhelming and unpleasant. To not waste product, I will begin to mix the two together to minimize the taste. However, this now means every smoothie will be a chocolate smoothie which is a mental and flavor adjustment for me. (I also originally planned to purchase the unflavored powder, but that will now not be happening.) 4. I think overall this is a high quality product (ingredient sourcing, lack of hexane) and I feel the price is justified. Just stick with one flavor...chocolate.

This is the only Protein powder that I have purchased more than once due to very sensitive digestion. But I was amazed to find that I had no negative reaction to this powder. Not to mention it is delicious! I have been having difficulty finding enough foods I can eat and have difficulty getting enough nutrition due to several health issues. After trying so many different powders that all caused bloating and digestive issues, I was so happy to find Be Well Protein Isolate. I have 1-2 of the smoothies below, and it is the only thing that has kept my energy and weight stable. Best Recipe EVER: Farm fresh milk 2 fresh egg yolks 2 brazil nuts 1 banana dash of cinnamon scoop of Vanilla protein powder YUM!!
