Disney*Pixar ReadAlong Storybook and CD Box Set Hardcover – Picture Book, November 7, 2017

These audio book are perfect for traveling! We bring them in the car and when we fly for our 5 year old. He loves the stories and it’s helping him learn how to follow along!

Worth every penny! I realize that there are tons of books read aloud online, but as a retired school teacher, I'm old-school. I want my grandkids to have the actual books in their hands as they listen along, and this is the next best thing to having a family member read aloud to them! Books with cd's can be expensive, but this set contains 4 fairly lengthy books, which in my opinion is a great deal. It's okay they're fairly long...they really hold the attention of my 4 year-old grandson! He listens to them over and over and over!! His vocabulary has improved as these books are written at about a 3rd grade level, but he comprehends them just fine! He also likes that there is a sound to turn the page! The content is interesting to kids, and again...this is my opinion, but kids reading books along with cd's is a hundred times better than plopping them in front of the tv or handing them a video game!!

I ordered this set for my four-year-old and it was a huge hit! I remember loving the read along Disney tapes/books as a child and wanted her to have that same experience. She really enjoys turning the page when the chime dings and following along on the pages.

These books are amazing! They keep my active three year old occupied - which is a miracle! This box set is great because it has four separate books but one CD. As opposed to some sets that are one binding for multiple stories. Each book has its own track on the (one) CD. Disney does a great job on the stories with adding sound effects and voices from the movie. Each one is about 10min long.

This has made car rides much smoother. When my 4 year old gets tired and restless of being in the car and starts getting crabby and fussing or kicking or having a fit in some way or another this is a good option to pop in the cd player and it keeps him entertained and occupied and generally a much happier camper for the rest of the car ride. I also sometimes play it to help him resettle if he's woken up in the middle of the night I can put this on in the cd player in the house and he will often resettle himself. It's a good alternative when he wakes up at 3 am asking to watch a movie and I'm not trying to turn the television on in the middle of the night. Has the character voices and comes with the books.

My three year old loves read aloud books and this set came with four stories he's familiar with and loves, so it was a no brainer to buy it. Previously with these Disney read alouds, the sets have come with multiple stories on one CD and all the stories in one book. This set came with one cd and four books. Not really a pro or con for our family but something to know. The only reason I knocked this down a star is that the CD comes in a sleeve that is attached to a piece of cardboard. It's difficult to fit back in the box and the sleeve does not come off.

The character voices are SO much fun! My kiddo loves them. We ripped the books onto mp3s to be more accessible for us

Every time we do a long drive, we listen to this. Kids love it, and I enjoy it. Makes me want to watch the movies again

Good little set but the narration on the cd is a bit too fast! It’s quite difficult for a child to keep up with it.
