I have hesitated to spend this much money on a soldering gun, but I can absolutely say this one is 100% worth it! I cannot believe how much easier it is to get nice solder lines, and how quickly it heats the solder up! Talk about a game changer, all those years of messing around with a cheap iron apparently gave me good practice, because this one makes me solder like a pro!

Light weight nice quality soldering iron!

Not a quality product - only used it for two stained glass projects (one medium and one small) and then it stopped working. Unfortunately, the window for returning has closed. I ordered a new one directly from Hakko. Hopefully, the new one will last longer.
