Japanese Wind Chime Set ，2 Pcs Black Iron Furin - Mount Fuji & Gentian Flower Design， Traditional Zen Garden Decor (Large & Small) (18'')

Two different sized bells make two distinct sounds, but not super invasive or annoying.They are outside my husband's work office window and he states he likes hearing them when the wind is going outside.They also look really cute, and have withstood rain decently so far. Quality shows very well on these and I feel like they will last a long time. Worth the amount they were listed for at time of ordering. Would definitely recommend.

For the money, these are nice chimes. They're made of cast iron, the larger one has a more soothing tone, the smaller is fine, higher but still not tinny. They're simple and pleasing to hear. I'd note that these are Japanese style, not made in Japan. And I don't say that to be snarky, they're fine but not as clear sounding as some I have that are from Japan. Those have more detailed metalwork (and thin metal "tails") but were a gift and I suspect cost much more. The other thing is yes, the plastic coated paper will not uncurl from how it was tucked in the box, it almost looks like a J. It's easy enough to replace if that bothers you, it still does its job and catches the wind as is.

The windchimes are made very well. They have a nice sound. They look very nice. They’re easy to install.

I like cast iron, Japanese-style wind chimes, as they're a little more subtle than multiple-tube wind chimes. These are very cute, are actual cast iron and not aluminum, and sound nice! Only thing I'd note is that you actually get two in the box (whoops), and I didn't know what to do with the smaller, flower shaped I've. Turns out, you can detach the plastic-paper dangly part and slip the smaller bell to hang under the larger one, making a lovely two-tone chime.

The metal chime part on these is great quality. The molding is good, the one with the mountain on it genuinely looks good. But they came with these flimsy tags on them to catch the wind. It’s the thinnest plastic, it feels like it was cut off a pocket folder or something. Like when I pulled these out of the box the tag was completely curled up and stuck that way due to being so thin and flimsy. It would be very easy to replace it with a wooden tag or your own paper/plastic one. It just baffles me that the chimes are so nice but the plastic bit is terrrrrible.That being said, these make a lovely noise. They are two sizes and chime with two lovely complimentary tones. I’ll be using them for sure.

This set of chimes comes with one larger round bell and a smaller rectangular bell. I've rated the combo five stars, but that's primarily due to the large bell. The smaller bell has a less pleasant tone and isn't as loud as the larger bell. That said, both of these bells make a pleasant tinkle noise in the breeze.These are constructed with iron, and the workmanship is high-quality. They're heavier than typical aluminum or light metal bells, so making them tinkle takes a stronger breeze. That works well for me -- I hung them in a very breezy entry portico where the strong breeze blew around lighter bells too much. A piece of plastic-coated paper hangs from these bells to catch the wind. It's necessary for the operation of the bell, but it's not durable for the long term. Fortunately, these are easy to replace when necessary with a material of my choice.

Can anyone have enough wind chimes in their garden and around their home? I think not, but others might. I love the harmonizing sounds of wind chimes playing their tunes to the movement of the wind. I find that the sound is very peaceful and relaxing, especially when everything is quiet. Adding these to my collection has definitely been another upgrade to the other melodious sounds. These look great and well made. And I am glad to have added these to my home

I'm not very impressed with these chimes. The tags on them are bent and very light/flimsy. Because of the way they are packaged and the fact the material the tags are made of is so thin and unsubstantial, I'm not even sure how to flatten them out without completely destroying them. Consequently I think the only way to get these chimes to actually function properly will mean I need to replace the tags so they look good and be able to do their job. I shouldn't have to do ANY of this with a brand new product.
