A couple of the DR chair seats used at our STR recently received some damage. Needing to repair them quickly & not being able to send them off site (we don't have extras), I looked for a solution. These self-adhesive repair patches seemed like just the thing. I ordered the dark brown and when the patch sheets arrived I was glad that they were a very close match to the chair seat color & shade. The application couldn't have been easier. First, I put some pieces of cotton ball into the holes to make up for the missing foam. Then I cleaned the area, dried it & cut a piece slightly larger than the place I wanted to cover. The patch material is easy to cut, it's a good quality "leather-like" material, pliable with a good composition. Once cut, I decided to "round over" the corners as I prefer that look. I then peeled off the backing, pressed it onto the area around the hole & smoothed it over with my hand. Super easy. It looks great and So Much better than it did when the damage was showing.I'll get these completely recovered when there's a larger gap in the bookings, but for now, this repair patch is an excellent substitute. Very pleased.

This patch works. It’s sticky and it looks close enough to leather. I couldn’t get it to look good going around the edge of my van armrest. A big flat spot would be good probably but anywhere with a seam is going to look off no matter how much effort you put in.

This is a pair of Leather Repair Patches. They are self adhesive and waterproof, this was tested. Worked great!I like the feel of the patch, it feels like leather and has the same texture as the leather seats in my car. The patches of course come in large 8x11 size so you will likely have to cut the patch down to the appropriate size you need to cover up. I used half of 1 patch to cover up a bad rip and tear in my driver seat of my car that I have had for many years. Keep in mind the leather in my car is a black/gray color (not 100% black), so the patch was a little bit darker than the leather in the seat itself, BUT not much of a visible difference, it is a pretty close match.The patch is very adhesive and did a great job sticking to my car seat quickly and I was able to cut around the corners as needed to have a more secure fit. I would recommend doing all the trimming and cutting of the patch as much as possible BEFORE you take off the paper backing. Not as easy to cut once you are cutting directly through the patch itself, it's very sticky.This patch works so well. I have covered up the big tear in my drivers seat and rode a couple times now sitting on the patch since I have placed it over the tear, and it stays in place very well. It is not coming off the seat or bubbling, which is great. And it feels much better now when driving it feels just like my leather seat under my leg rather than a big tear of the car seat scratching up against me! So definitely a win!I really like this product and recommend if you are needing a temporary solution, or even long-term solution for a coverup without paying the extra money to get something fully replaced or repaired.

This leather patch kit worked fine. It was easy to measure, cut and apply. Covered up holes and will hopefully stay on long term. Long sheets are easy to store for next use. Before and after pics an are included.

We have a dark brown leather sofa that has a hole in one of the cushions so I ordered this in hopes of patching it. Unfortunately, the dark brown color is not quite dark enough so I won't be able to use it. The patches are not quite as dark in color as the item photo makes them look. I attached a photo that shows the dark brown patch against my dark brown sofa.The patches are a good size and have a nice grain to them. I also think they are a good value. So I would recommend them but note that the dark brown color may not match what you're trying to patch.I do think that the title and description of this item are a bit misleading. The title and item description both state that these are "leather" but in the short summary of the item, the "material" states "faux leather." This was why I rated this four stars instead of five.

Got this "patch" kit to cover a tear in my vehicles seat. So far it's held up great, and since it's covered the seam that's split, seems to be preventing more tearing from happening. I’ve had a few rips on the seams of the leather seats in my old Nissan. I’ve used other patches in the past and they seem to work fairly well, usually lasting a year or two be they begin to show signs of wear. This patch is just the right size ( 8" X 11") and fits right over the spot of its predecessor. It’s a good idea to clean the seat of dirt and debris to get a good seal with the adhesive. The patch sticks very quickly so be sure you’ve got it in the right spot before you let it touch the seat or else you may need to pull it off and possibly damage it. This set offers 2 patches so you’ve got coverage and protection for a good amount of time.
