Furnace Vent Deflector

I am a repeat buyer with this product, so that is how well I think it works. There is really no installation as you just lay it on the air register. The magnet is really strong, so the deflector will not move from where you want it to move the air. I use it in our pantry and I can always feel the cool air being deflected out.

My mom and I both have cats that hog the heat vents by lying on them. So we both got these and problem solved! The only reason I gave it one less star is because it’s lightweight and gets jostled a bit and off kilter. (But stays on the vent.) My mom’s cat gives her dirty looks but moves along. And the heat is still deflected into the house. Win win!

This is over a vent by the kitchen table in front the sliding glass door. Kids knock into it walking around the table or moving a chair, dog knocks it all the time going around the table, husband had hit it a few times, and I've even ran into it a couple times. Still hasn't cracked or broke.

This is two pieces of plastic that slide against each other, and are held in place with magnets. It is exactly as described, and you have to realize what you're buying. With that in mind, it works exactly like I expected it to. I was not expecting a miracle, just a little improvement so I'm actually blowing air into the room instead of shooting it at the walls. It helps, a little. When my dog runs over it, the magnets don't hold (I wouldn't expect them to), so I readjust it occasionally. It is a perfectly okay contraption.

Divert heat from floor vents going up behind curtains to bring more heat into the room.

It does the job.

Magnets are just a little too weak. It will hold the vent deflector up on a celling vent, but occasionally fall down.I tried it on some other vents, but the area with the magnets are either landing ontop of the mounting screws, or the vent's direction lever, so it doesnt work- the resulting positions of the would have it hanging off the vent in either direction. Disappointing purchase

Product works. Have used these in the past though not thru this seller or thru amazon. The ones i received were cracked and split where the magnets are installed. Still functional, but they should not have shipped items with these defects. As i said still functional so i did not return or contact seller. They were going under furniture so perfect appearance was not critical.
