EX1 Cosmetics Pure Crushed Mineral Powder Foundation (1.0)

Wow! I struggle with mineral powder foundation caking through the day and I've tried most of the big brands. This sits beautifully all day and the tone is great for my skin. The only downside is most brands, once you unscrew the lid they have an internal mechanism to close the powder off so if you're taking it traveling it doesn't make a huge mess when you open it....This doesn't have that. So be warned if it's going on holiday or in your bag, you might get covered in some powder when you open it. But the way it sits on your skin will make up for it!

Colour match only ok. It’s more yellow than olive but as this is a fine powder it’s less noticeable than the fluid foundation. It’s also quite drying so wouldn’t recommend for dry or mature skin.

I habe tried mineral makeup in the past but find this to be superior to any. I regret that there is only one light shade but this is easily fixed by mixing the light shade with a bot of the dark. I am very impressed

Hardly any coverage at all. Doesn't cover redness in cheeks like my Avon one does. It's more like a loose finishing powder than a foundation. I've had to mix it with my Avon mineral powder to get a small amount of coverage. Colour match is good though, much better than Avon (which is why i tried it in the first place). If you're looking to cover blemishes or uneven pigment/redness then unfortunately this product doesn't deliver.

The makeup is so reasonably priced for the quality, I have skin very prone to breakouts and i have not broken out once with use! blends wonderfully and definitely allows skin to breathe! Colour is great too, the colour guide on their website is brill! The coverage is lighter however, suits me perfectly as i go for light coverage but someone wanting a heavier concentration of pigment may wish to use this as a setting powder instead.

I brought this as I usually use bareMinerals, but it definitely wasn’t the same quality, the coverage is awful you can still see the powder sitting on your skin, even when using more or less powder it’s clumpy and looks awful!

I've used this brand in the past such as the concealer which works very well. However, using this product as foundation was a bit difficult, so I use it as setting powder instead.

This mineral foundation is good and a true match for the equivalent time of the liquid foundation. However, it did make my skin feel taunt and a little dry. I then used a prima in addition to my moisturiser and all was great after that.

It works and matches great!! I have super pale skin but not with a blue or red undertone, which makes finding the right shade of foundation an annoying process. I recently stumbled onto a youtube video in which the presenter talked about EX1 makeup and how it is geared towards skin with yellow/olive undertones. I prefer mineral foundation so bought this powder version on Amazon (instead of liquid) and apply it with a Kabuki brush. I got both the 1.0 and 2.0 shades but will be using the 1.0 primarily. If Amazon doesn't offer it at some point, there are other websites that do. I just prefer Amazon. Note: I use a kabuki type brush to apply it, which helps with coverage. HOWEVER, because kabuki brushes can smear mineral makeup if your sunscreen or other skin care products haven't fully set (I recommend waiting at least 10 minutes for them to set), I apply the first "coating" of mineral makeup with the brush used for loose powder. Then I use the kabuki brush to apply more mineral makeup. No smearing.

Penso di avere sbagliato io il colore, ho preso un 5 pelle oivastra, mi sono regolata con le foto perché non c'è tanta info.. E ovviamente provarlo per vedere.. E non copre e sembro un fantasma..

Love the flexibility of this mineral make up. I can use it lightly when having a casual day or a bit more for more dressier occasions. It is wonderful for covering areas with a light blemish. I ordered this foundation powder because it was created to be used for people like me that have yellow undertones in my skin. It looks so natural on my skin and neutralizes the yellow in my skin.

Coverage can be better,. But I makes it very light on skin. Overall good for the price.
