Accidentally washed and dried and the remote still worked. We love the ability to use the buttons and the pointer functions when we choose. It fits comfortably in your hands with its sleek design. We have not noticed a lag when changing channels or volume.

I got a LG tv that came with this remote and was expecting the same thing when I bought a larger model of the same tv. However, that remote was god awful. Amazon to the rescue. I love that this remote it is intuitive and you can select the source from a button the remote (using it for a pc monitor). If you have an LG tv that it will work with and are using the crappy remote that came with it, or just need a replacement I would encourage you to get this.

Put batteries in, used the "power" button to turn on the TV and it worked great ! No need to program it al all. It works just like the original. Now we have a backup remote. The original remote was working fine, but the print on the little buttons were starting to wear off, so we thought getting backup remote was a good idea. And it was ! Praise the Lord ! We're still using the original remote, but at least now we have a backup on hand. THANK YOU JESUS !!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

This is an excellent replacement for my LG Smart TV remote. The original one that came with the TV was terrible in every way. The button layout was the worst, I used to always accidentally press the wrong buttons to the point where I had to 3D print covers for a couple buttons as seen in the picture. The other buttons had to be pressed really hard and sometimes just didn't work or had serious lag. The clone remotes had the same issues. I almost replaced the TV altogether with a different brand. Wish I knew this remote was compatible a long time ago. The difference is night and day. This remote is way more responsive and the button layout actually makes sense. There is zero lag. This remote is about 1/2 an inch longer and about twice as thick as the original. The size makes it more ergonomic as well less likely to fall between the couch cushions. I'm also pleased with the battery cover as its more secure and won't easily fall off and get lost.

Works like a charm. Put new batteries in it and turned my tv right back on. If I ever need another one (my kids lost the first one in the house somewhere) I will definitely purchase another one reasonably priced. Same size, weight, and I'm sure as durable as the other one. Buttons are smooth and easy to use.
