I found Dr. Gill's book essential in teaching my Introduction to World Religions course at Temple University. Sam is thorough yet concise and to the point combining his years of research with rare on-the-ground field experience and an always respectful approach to Native American culture.

This is a wonderful book for those who are learning about Native American Religions. It is a great tool to understand what it is all about.
