agapeVS3 White DuraPlus Urethane Golf Balls, 3-Piece Dual Core

I was very pleasantly surprised by these golf balls. I have used on to finish one round and then play another 18 holes. Even with the occasional visit to a gravel cart path, the surface of the ball looks new. Playing golf in cold weather (45 degrees) I usually use Maxfli Noodles, which are cheap and easier to hit in the cold. During serious golf, I use Titleist Velocity golf balls.These balls were closer to the Titleists in performance. They flew long and straight. Distance control was easy, and you could work them both ways. I did hit one major slice, but the rest of the time I found the went straight when I wanted, and cut or drew when that was called for. I would have no hesitation using these in competition.

I really like these Agape balls. They sound good off the clubs and are pretty soft around the greens. I play 2 times a week and have played for 50 years. I usually play ProV1's or other high end balls. These are very close to the same quality and at $4 per ball they are a decent price. I have also used the Agape 5-piece balls and they are some of the best I have ever used. Even my playing partners have bought them. So, Agape makes a great ball and if you try them you wont be disappointed.

Admittedly, I’m a very mediocre golfer. Hitting a ball far and straight off the tee is something that only happens in my dreams.I can, however, chip fairly well (sometimes). I took these 2 golf balls out to my backyard and did some chip shots with them. I was pleasantly surprised—loft was quite good. My neighbor was out on his deck, and he even gave me a round of polite golf applause.The literature that was included with the golf balls indicates that these VS3 balls are “forgiving”—exactly what my skill level requires.

These golf balls came as a set of two balls in a sleeve. The shell has a softer feel to it. They play like other urethane balls as far as the roll and the distance. I feel they are a little high priced compared to the Titleist balls I am currently using but they are very compatible in the way they play.

I recently came to understand that golf balls do have a life span, so when these became available I grabbed them so I would have some fresh balls to use.I am a high handicap player so I cannot speak with authority on how good these balls are compared to the ones I am used to using, but they performed great!

This 3 pack of golf balls are great to take to the simulator range to see the differences between these and other balls you may take to the range. The packaging is nice and the balls feel well built. The VS3 seems designed for more beginner golfers so I will make use of them at the simulator as I improve my striking skills.

Interesting ball with soft feeling shell that gives a nice feel when putting and chipping. Plays like other urethane balls on full shots. Priced like other premium urethane balls which might make them a hard sell over the big brands. Seems like a solid ball though.

I read 3 piece and thought it would be a package of 3 golf balls like a normal box. Nope. Comes with 2. So I have to be very careful when and where I hit these. I honestly don't see a difference in distance, but as all golfers know, perhaps it's just the way I'm hitting it and just really need to connect. I was disappointed there were only 2 balls.
