This is an amazing flashlight for its size! I didn't realize how small it was until I received it, and I am pleasantly surprised. As for the light output, it has multiple modes and brightness settings, so you can customize the light output that you want. I am very happy with the modes and brightness selection. If there is one caveat, it's that turning it on takes a second. You need to turn the dial until the green light turns on, then press it to turn on the light. From there, long pressing the dial will change the lighting modes, a quick press will turn it off. Others have mentioned it, but if you leave it on the brightest setting with both sets of LEDs on, it gets very warm very quickly!

Sofirn IF30. A thrower and flood light combo. It's made of aluminum and very sturdy. It comes with a 32650 battery and a lanyard. It incorporates a self locking feature that activates 15 seconds after you turn it off. A single push of the button will turn it back on if pushed before 15 seconds. Flood and throw or combo lights are cycled through the only switch on the side making this easy to use and with good functionality. It's a bright light and with bright lights comes a little heat..it will get hot on turbo pretty quick but the light is worth it. The value is increased by having the flood and throw in 1 light, this not having to carry 2. I like the light and would recommend anyone with outdoor life experiences to have one.

It is bright but too strong for it size. The main problem of a flashlight, there is not sufficient aluminum to cool the emitter. The battery last well.

It’s bright but the button/dial is harder to adjust the brightness than I’d like and is a bit tight or lacks in ease of adjustment. It’s easy for me to turn on and easy enough to turn the brightness up or down, it just takes a lot of turning of the knob. I wish it had another way to adjust the brightness or a better button. The way I can use spot and flood together or each individually is useful and I also like that I can double tap the button to take it to max brightness or max dim. All the people returning the light that can’t cut it on can’t read instructions or regret their decision etc. and for the price I paid I’d buy it again. If the button were improved it would be a better light but it’s ok at best. The lens has a bit of a haze on the middle but the light is still bright and works. I also have a Q8 Plus that has a hazy lens that they won’t do anything about since I didn’t buy it directly from them. They also don’t sell or offer backup batteries for it nor will they offer support or honor their warranty unless you buy it off their platform. I would NOT recommend it with the button and because of other shortcomings just be aware of these issues if you do decide to buy one anyways. I wouldn’t buy anything from this company again but that’s just me. I like a company that stands behind their warranty and product (this isn’t one) not one that makes excuses of why they shouldn’t replace/fix it.

Really good flash light competes will with olight marauder mini 2. Olight has more features but sofirn makes up for it with 2k more lumens 10/10 would buy again spot is great flood is great and can dial the brightness

So Bright! It is a beast and easily my brightest flashlight. With that power, it is relatively compact, but not a pocketable flashlight. I love being able to switch between flood and throw or a mix of each. It lights up any area and is almost too bright inside my house. The dial on it makes ramping up or down easy to adjust. The automatic lock is nice to protect the light and anything that might be in contact with it, because it puts out some severe heat. Edit: I continue to be amazed at how bright this light is. I grab it when I need to go outside and light up an entire area.

First of all, were it not for what I consider to be a design flaw on this light, I would give it 5 stars with no problem. Build quality is excellent, light output is amazing and the UI is very intuitive however, while Amazon does mention the auto-lock feature, they do not mention that this lock-out occurs after only 12-15 seconds of non use. When in lockout mode, you must rotate a wheel on the power switch approximately 90-100 degrees to unlock it. This rotation can only be done in a clockwise direction and, should you happen to exert any downward pressure on the switch while attempting to unlock the light, you will only again trigger the double flash notification that you are in lockout mode and you'll need to try it again. As a law enforcement retiree, I would never consider using this light in any kind of a tactical situation due to this problem. When emergency problems occur and you need light, you need it immediately, not after what could be many seconds later. Why Sofirn programmed this light to have this function is beyond me. I have other Sofirn lights that also have auto-lock functions but, not only is the auto-lock time out much longer than on the IF30, unlocking that feature only requires a quick double tap on the power switch. You do not have to "play" around with a wheel on the power switch making sure you do so in the correct direction and, that you do not use downward pressure on it while attempting to unlock the light. This is the reason I only gave it 3 stars and will have to return it which is very disappointing because every thing else about it is great

At $100 this flashlight is a steel on sale for 60 this flashlight is the most amazing price I’ve ever seen for any flashlight. Obviously the heat becomes an issue at the higher levels. Can you help to manage the time that you have the light at the higher levels and just lowering the light level?. This is the best deal you will find any flashlight
