Had similar nutritional values as other brands at a much better price.I used a mechanical whisk to blend and the Salted caramel and lemon cheese cake flavours are very smooth and taste fine with water and very good with Almond milk.The hazelnut one remains a bit grainy (kind of like blended hazelnuts, not powdery) but is not as good with water, with Almond milk it's great.Only down side is for the first quarter of the pack, the bag is hard to reseal.

The price of whey protein has rocketed over the last 2 years. I recall buying 2k bags of a branded protein for £18. Now they a £50+.Decided to give AmFit a go. Very pleasant surprised. Ordered 1kg of salted caramel at £15. This powder has a nice taste and is very similar to myproteins salted caramel. Perhaps this powder tastes a little more watery but a little less water sorted that. Mixes to a nice smooth milkshake texture drink.Mixing protein powders is an area where a lot of users mark a product down, both for this product and others. I use a standard shaker with a ball, and I always put in the water first, and shake, before then putting in the powder. With this method, I've never had clumps, even with lower budget soy/pea based protein. This powder mixes fine.Some users commented on closing the bag. Yes, it the powder initially clogged the closing strips. I used a clean brush to get the powder out. No issues.I will be ordering more.

It mixes surprisingly well, and I'm happy to say it tastes pretty good and I will order more after this one is done.

I bought this powder for my husband and we tinkered with recipes. Sharing the best one we found in case it’s useful: 1 scoop chocolate whey powder, 1 shot espresso, 200ml oat milk, 2 large ice cubes - whizz in a blender. It worked without the coffee shot but it was very (too) sweet.

This protein powder is pretty decent to use - tastes nice (Choc Hazelnut), mixes reasonably well but not perfectly, but the price used to be ~£11-12/kg just a few months ago.£19/kg now...? Why? No point in getting this product at that price, it's not competitive. This thing goes up in price by like £3/kg every time I go to order it...

I was concerned the chocolate powder mixed in water would be a disgusting taste but it tastes great! It becomes a thick shake instantly. Too much powder causes it to become too thick but that’s why you stick to the one scoop. The bag didn’t seal at first as the powder sits in the groove. Once I got that out the packet seals no problem. It has lasted me a month already and still plenty to have. Great protein amount. I’d like to try another flavour but worried it won’t be as good as chocolate. Will continue with this brand

Unfortunately Whey Protein prices have risen sharply over the past few years but AMFIT manage to bring a reasonably priced offering with reasonable quality.Banana MilkshakeFlavour: 4/5 - This is an artificial banana type flavour - think the banana pick and mix sweet type taste. The flavour is not overly strong and in fact could perhaps be slightly stronger which is where it lost points. There was no real aftertaste and overall to my taste it was pleasant.Mixability 3.5/5. Unfortunately this powder didn't mix as well as it might and given that I mixed it with milk in a blender I'd imagine that mixing by hand with a shaker cup may not produce the best results. It might be worth considering how you make your shakes when ordering.Value: 4/5 - This is very competitively priced compared to rival brands and significantly cheaper than some of the more traditional UK brands.Overall 4/5Where did it lose points?Unfortunately in order to bring this product in at such a competitive price point means that the manufacturing environment is not as controlled as other offerings and the product is not tested for cross-contamination of allergens. It loses a point here on value, as well as overall as it is not suitable for many users. Overall for this reason, as well as the mix-ability issues it comes in at a very respectable 4/5.I've had other flavours from the AMFIT brand previously and found the flavouring to be consistently accurate to description if at times a little subtle, and the mix-ability is consistently reasonable in a blender but not as good as it might be.Recommended if you have no food intolerance issues and use a blender to make your shakes.

Love the taste, good amount of protein, easy to mix. Yes, the bag doesn't seal along the sealing strip. Odd but I don’t fight it. Just roll the top and secure with a rubber band: quick, easy, reliable.
