Click & Grow SGR57x3 3 pc(s) Cherry Tomato Starter kit

The plants took a long time to grow so I was worried they wouldn’t grow fruit. I was pleasantly surprised to see flowers and then fruit! The plant got so tall I had to replant these in a pot. The tomatoes are happy and the plant is still giving me fruit!

Only 1 of the 3 pods grew. The other two, nothing happened. Just stayed seeds. Not worth it.

I use the click and grow mostly for herbs, but thought I would give these a try. The plants germinated quickly, grew healthy. I transferred the plants to a bigger pot and put under a small grow light I have, and got lovely sweet little fruit for months. Not sure how they would have done if left only in the click and grow as the plants got big (a foot tall at least) though the bushy nature of this tomato was really strong.

The Smart Garden product is well-designed and attractive, and it was fun to have growing things on my kitchen counter, but the product was ultimately disappointing. My three tomato plants all grew nicely, but one never developed any flowers and hence no tomatoes. The other two each produced 5-6 marble-sized tomatoes. My $10 investment (plus the cost of electricity and water over several months) produced only enough tomatoes for one salad for my husband and myself! I would perhaps buy herb pods again, but never tomatoes.

I love my click and grow because it is so easy to use. I have never tried to grow mini tomatoes before but these have sprouted and grown beautifully and are giving me little baby tomatoes now! I am so excited!!

One of my tomatoes did not sprout. Everything else has been great. Note: This is not my first season with Click and Grow veggies.
