It seems like the noise-cancelling boom mic either stopped working or is defective after only a few short months! I inquired with the seller if there's an on-off function, but it's supposed to be working when its attached magnetically to the headphones. I specifically invested in this headset because of the noise-cancellation technology of the boom mic, which is NOT WORKING anymore and all my clients can't even hear my voice clearly, and can also hear the surrounding background noise.Dear seller, is there a warranty on this? If you can honor it and replace my defective unit to a new one, I'll be over the moon and update my review and rating to 5 stars. It checks all the boxes for what I was looking for and needed.Open Ear means perfect to hear my surroundings while at home, or when I go for my long walks and still hear oncoming traffic so I'm not in any kind of danger. But sound quality is GREAT. I like it. Don't expect Beats by Dre bass quality, but still rich and clear.Lightweight, means I can wear it all day, and not get tired of having them on. I don't even notice they're on my ears.Connectivity: fast pairing and connection with BT.Now the most important feature I needed was the Noise Cancelling Mic Boom: I tested it in different environments, in a mall, coffee shop, outdoors, and the person on the other end said my voice came through clearly and the background noise was not noticeable at all, or nonexistent. Perfect for my work to be mobile. PLUS: the mic boom quickly and easily snaps off and on, very practical.They last a good 6-8 hours on a single charge, maybe more. Quick recharge, I was impressed.Able to pair it with 2 devices simultaneously, laptop and smartphone. But some reason, it doesn't ring when I get messages or calls. And when paired with 2 devices, if you're playing media on the laptop, then when you check phone, it won't automatically switch to the sound of the media from your phone, you have to pause whatever is playing on the laptop so you can hear the media playing on the phone. Seller: if there's a fix for that, let me know, thanks.One thing I would recommend to seller is include a carrying case or pouch. For the price, it should be included in order to protect them while not in use.All in all, I'm very satisfied and will keep it. Highly recommend for remote workers who don't want to be tied by a cord to their laptop or cellphone.
