Champion Shock Absorber S5044 Ultimate Run Bra Women's

This is actually the second time I’ve bought this bra — and I went through Amazon this time because it was cheaper and arrived quicker than ordering from the official site. Massive bonus! I first bought this Champion training bra about 6 years ago, and it’s served me so well. I used it regularly for running and workouts, and it held up brilliantly over time. I was honestly impressed by how long it lasted considering how much I wore it. The support is amazing — especially if, like me, you’ve got a bigger bust. I’ve struggled in the past with sports bras that look the part but just don’t offer the right support. This one does. It keeps everything in place, doesn’t feel tight or restrictive, and it’s really comfortable to wear for long periods. I love that it fastens in two places — both at the back and also at the bottom band — so it gives that extra secure feel. You can also adjust the straps and the back, which is great for getting the perfect fit. Tip for anyone unsure on sizing: Go to the Champion website and use their fit guide. You just put in your measurements and they suggest the best size. That’s what I did the first time and I just reordered the same one here on Amazon. Fit was spot on again. It’s hard to fault this bra. Great quality, high-impact support, comfortable, long-lasting, and well-priced — honestly, I’ll probably end up getting a third one before this one wears out!

I must first say that I have a love/hate relationship with Shock Absorber bras generally. I hate them because I don't find their "compression fit" very comfortable. I have decent sized boobs & they just squash everything into your body which I don't like. However I have to admit they work in terms of stopping boobs bouncing around so to that extent I am growing to love them. I really didn't like this bra when it arrived. As well as the usual "squash factor" it's 2nd fastening is a plastic clip affair like you would find on a swim suit located so high between the shoulder blades its almost impossible to fasten. ( and you can't front fasten and swivel) However I decided to try it out and I must say it does work well. As always with shock absorber the fit on back size is small so think about going up a size on that- cup size is fine though, it's supposed to fit tight, that is how it works. Regarding comfort I am in 2 minds- it's tight, you will notice when you put it on & it won't feel comfortable. But once you are wearing it and while running you just won't notice it. In short it is comfortable to run in which is pretty much the point So I am growing to love this bra, slowly, very slowly. I had to force myself to give this bra 5*s which I did because it's well made and very fit for purpose but it doesn't make my "heart sing" if you know what I mean! Hope that helps ladies

So I have recently invested in the infinity power shock absorber bra, and dispite reviews, ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly. Very flattering, and my god does it hold you in place. (highly recommended that one instead of this one) So when I saw this ultimate run bra on Amazon on sale, I knew I had to have it. This was the second suggestion to me from the shock absorber website so knew it would be good. The reviews on here, and shock absorber's Website say to order your normal size for this specific bra, so I did. (ordered normal size for other and fits perfectly). Its just arrived and I can only just get it on. I'm a pretty small, petite lady but this gave me serious issues with back fat because it was so tight! I think it'll be wearable but my god am I going to feel so self conscious in it. The cup size was perfect, but the back was just so tight. I felt like a reject from Play Dough's newest line. The bra itself is well made, and looks lovely. (Until its turns my back into a well roasted string tied ham who has reproduced with The Michelin Man) Overall, shock absorber as a brand, I'd recommend, but not this bra.

This was a good design with strong support. I ordered for running and know it would have been perfect had the underband fit been correct. I could tell as soon as I took it out the wrapping it was going to be tight. I ordered a 34F - the cup size was good, the clasp and hook and eye easy to get in/out. Thick comfortable straps. I had to send back because the underband was an inch too small. I managed to close this but it would not have been comfortable to run in. Gutted as I really liked the bra. If you are on the petite side of a 34, this may fit and if a standard 34, a size 36 could be better. At the time I ordered, the price point was great, however the size 36 was showing 3 times the price therefore didn't reorder.

OK, I am in love with this bra. For reference, I normally wear a 34DD-34E in the expensive European brands (Panache, etc), but I found that the band on the 34E was WAY too tight. I returned for a 36E, and the fit is perfect! The snap in the back takes a bit of practice but is easy once you get the hang of it. I was initially searching online for an underwire sports bra because I have never in my life encountered a wireless bra with any meaningful support for a larger chest. I usually had to do the two bra technique which is so annoying and uncomfortable. I saw good reviews so I thought I'd take a chance. This bra surprised me! No nipple show through, and the girls stay put regardless of the workout. I actually ride horses in this bra which is usually the ultimate challenge. Minimal jiggle or bounce, if any. Also, it's not super high rise in the front so it fits well under most racerback workout tops. I will say this though - if you are looking for a bra to make the girls look shapely, this is probably not it. It is not padded and is purely functional so it will minimize your breasts more than accentuate them. For me, that was the goal. I'm ordering another one!
