Worked great we put the solo stove on our deck for the first time and used this Mat along with the elevated ring you buy extra and had no proof we had a heat source on the deck. Game changer for us!

The mat does what I need, which is protect my deck from burning wood that may fall out of my Solo Yukon. It is made of a material a little thicker than a heavy duty tarp, which I like as it reduces the tripping hazard of a thicker material. I cannot comment on longevity since I only have used it for a week.

This is the cheapest I found a large size mat that’s a circle. Haven’t burned it yet, but looks good so far.

There’s no way this is 3 layers. This is incredibly cheap and thin and is not going to last long. Edges curled immediately, which is funny because in the description it says ‘neatly stitched so edges don’t curl’Doesn’t lay nice, looks terrible under my fire pit, and holds water like a bowl because it won’t lay flat. Find a different fire mat. (In the picture I’m using a smaller silver fire mat directly under my fire pit and on top of this black one because this one can’t handle the heat of my fire pit. I’m just using this right now to catch any sparks until I can get a better one)Also if there is even the faintest breeze, it will blow this thin cheap mat into your fire pit and it will melt.
