Just Right
In my duty belt and doesn’t take much room. Covers and protects well and is very durable.

Flap won't stay snapped!
I bought this because of the snap flap to keep the light in place so it's useless.

Decent quality/construction but beware of recommended flashlight dimensions
As stated in the images for this item, I made sure to measure the flashlight I was hoping to use with this holster and determined that it was just under 1 3/8" in diameter. Unfortunately, the item description doesn't take into account the "D" profile of the area that holds the flashlight (so diameter is not an appropriate measure). In reality, this holster can NOT accommodate a flashlight that is any wider than about 1" in diameter (see images for more details).Aside from the measurement discrepancies, this holster is made from thick nylon that is assembled with decent quality with a few frayed stitches. The buttons are solid and function appropriately. The strap to attach this to a belt is good and as expected.Assuming your flashlight fits inside of a 1" diameter, this holster would be a decent choice.

Very Well Made Flashlight Pouch
This is a well-made and well-designed flashlight pouch for wear on a duty belt or similar applications. It's made of very heavy nylon fabric, double-stitched everywhere, with good snaps. The open bottom allows for longer flashlights. This pouch is sized for a flashlight with a shaft of less than 1 3/8 inches and a head width greater than that so it doesn't fall through. This claims that it can be used with a MOLLE setup but the PALS ladder would have to be generous because the strap on the back is quite thick due to velcro on both sides.A few quick thoughts about flashlights: you don't want one that is turned on with a slide switch on the side; it will get turned on when being inserted into (or maybe removed from) the pouch. A flashlight like the one shown in the photos relies on having the head pulled forward or pushed back for focus; pulling it out of the pouch by the head will usually result in it being on the highest intensity setting. The flashlight shown in the photos is a PeakPlus LFX1000, currently available on Amazon.

Belt Loop Velcros Together and Buttons
I am not sure this will work for my edc flashlight needs for a couple of different reasons, and to be clear I am not an officer of any kind. What appealed to me here is the ability to make it easier for me to carry a flashlight in addition to my multi-tool holster for IT work allowing me to add another tool where I currently carry my flashlight. What I found is even though my flashlight is almost a half inch smaller than what the description says (1 3/8", my flashlight is 1") i have to use a decent amount of force to get it into the holster and more importantly remove it from the holster meaning it's not an easy quick grab when I am poking around under a desk or in a server rack. For me this really reduces the items value and usefulness to me, it might not for you though.

Heavy Duty Construction, Silly Light Duty Dimensions
The media could not be loaded. If you watch my video, you’ll see my main and major concern. Here are my observations:First impressions were great… Excellent construction and materials. The nylon is tough. The button snaps and velcro straps are crazy strong. This will last a very long time. However, when I tried to put a flashlight in it, my impression began to deteriorate. Supposedly, this can take a flashlight with a 1 3/8” max diameter. Um, not true. Let me explain… the WIDTH of the area to hold the flashlight is indeed around 1 3/8”, so I can see why they made the claim. However, this is more of a semi-circle shape… which means that the overall diameter is significantly LESS. Again, watch my video if this doesn’t make sense.TLDR; - this will only hold flashlights that are MAYBE 1 1/8” in diameter at most. More like 1” realistically. I think it’s almost silly to have a dedicated holster for a flashlight that small. (Do I even have a flashlight that small???)So, quality… 5 stars. Overall rating because, well, it doesn’t hold the flashlight size that you’d buy this for… 3 stars. Make this a little bigger, and you’ve got a winner. Otherwise, not so much.
