We have a new puppy that wanted to sleep/relax too close to our wood stove.This screen is perfect. Easy setup and looks great and is just the right size. The doors make it easy to add more wood 🪵 when needed. No need to move the entire screen 😃😃

It is a great fire screen looks and works great but, the top edges of the doors are pointed and sharp. The manufacturer needs to grind the sharp corners.

I am very impressed with the high quality of the product. Looks great! And covers well. A very caring and honest company.

I really like this screen for a few reasons.  It's a good size but it also folds to have a pretty small footprint.  It's got some weight to it but isn't unnecessarily heavy.  It's not style specific so it blends in with all kinds of decor.  It also has access doors which are part of the reason I liked it and will be quite useful for some.  I chose this as a precaution for an almost blind foster kitten as we have a built in woodstove.  I needed something that would keep her far enough away from the stove just in case she got ahead of herself while doing kitten parkour. While I think she would instinctually stay away from something so hot, I'm not willing to risk it when she is in play-mode and it has worked well for this.  It was super simple to put together, just screw the two feet on.  One note to make, the doors are not a tight fit and swing freely when not latched.  This is helpful when using them but something to consider.  My floor tips slightly (apparently), so as soon as they unlatch they swing-open, towards me.  It works for me but it's worth mentioning because maybe yours slope the other way and you'll want to factor that in.  In all honesty, while I really like the look of the doors and the idea of the doors, I usually just move the whole thing since I am using it with a woodstove and it's easy to handle.  I think I'd definitely use the doors more with a fireplace though.  I do wish they had packed this screen in paper or bubble wrap but it came with a few styrofoam pieces.  I am not thrilled with having to send that to the landfill and it made a bit of a mess when I pulled the gate out of the box.  Hopefully, the seller will reconsider that in the future.  As of 11/23, I am quite pleased with this screen.  If anything should change or if I have any issues in the future, I will update this review.

Easy to install, good material

I got this to put in front of a non-working fireplace, so its only purpose is to be decorative, not functional. I'm re-doing my mother's house in a mid-century modern style and wanted to replace her ornate brass colonial style fireplace screen (complete with a retractable metal "curtain") with something more minimalist. This is just okay. It's pretty flimsy, which isn't a big issue, but it isn't particularly attractive either. I ended up ordering something else and will probably donate this one to the Goodwill. Not awful, just not great.

Thought this would be more heavier duty than what showed up. Don’t get me wrong the metal frame seems to be well built and the screen mesh has very tight holes in it.. it will catch those flying embers from getting out on the carpet. I guess when I looked at it, read the info and looked at the price I had unrealistic view of what it would be.. considering the price too. My thinking is this bad boy was going to be like grandpa built it in the barn with some of that heavy duty metal from 1940’s, albeit the fireplace screen has no elaborate design but rather plain Jane. I really like the look and especially the middle door so I’m not having to move the whole screen out of the way every time. Instead just open the door and toss a log or 2 in on the fire. The price with the light weight metal don’t add up for me but it does have its advantages. It is light weight and easy to move. The legs have to be put on and those are fairly cheese as well. Only knocked a star down because I still have more that I like than just the light weight metal. Happy Times!!!
