The Mocktail Club: Classic Recipes (and New Favorites) Without the Booze

For the last month, I have spent hours and hours online trying to read reviews and gather ingredients, tools, and NA spirits to create my own bar. While searching, I came across Derick Santiago on social media. I looked up his book and decided to buy it. It is absolutely a comprehensive source for making NA cocktails without having to have a lot of specialty ingredients. He includes the basic things that are absolutely needed to make an array of mocktails. Honestly, the book was validating for me. As I read the book, I found that I had purchased or made most of what he included in the book! I wish I had started with the book, because it would have saved me a whole lot of time. This is an amazing resource and I’m so happy to have recipes to go along with my stocked mocktail bar!

Recipes are detailed enough to be fancy for special occasions, but do not require weird or hard to find ingredients. I live in an average suburb and can get everything I need to make these drinks.

"The Mocktail Club" is an entertaining, detailed guide for non-alcoholic drink fans!I absolutely love the elegant photos, which show amazing drinks with delicious-looking garnishes. The images are so vivid, I could almost taste the mocktail flavor coming off the pages (spoiler alert: if you lick the pages, they only taste like ink and paper).Nevertheless, the Mocktail Club has endless mocktail variations based on different liquors or spirits, from zero-proof tequila to non-alcoholic sparkling wines. Reading The Mocktail Club makes me feel like an apprentice mixologist during the Roaring Twenties, soon to be serving drinks to patrons at an underground fancy speakeasy.I appreciated the clear and simple instructions, which ensure that I will shake or stir a martini as needed! I have loved this book so far and expect to try out many of the recipes. I recommend The Mocktail Club for anyone looking to learn more about mocktails or drinks in general!
