Would Buy For Everyone I Know
This cooking pot is so amazing! First off the color is beautiful! It is solid and the perfect size for soups, roasts and sourdoughs! The heat capacity is tried and true to the Lodge brand. It holds heat so well. The inside is better than a cast iron in that it is so much easier to clean because it is enamel! This product is so easy to use and comes with instructions but I did not need to read them. I have already made a roast and it came out perfect. It goes so well from stove top to oven so seamlessly! I am still in the newness but I expect it to season well over time although it is coated in enamel. For my roast I used a little bit of olive oil and there was no stickiness at all! A+ highly recommend!

So worth the money
Heavy duty. Beautiful. I have been thinking of buying this Dutch oven for several years and finally decided to get it. I made the best pot of chili. Heating was even and fast. Cleanup was a breeze. It’s heavy and massive so do not think you’ll just be tossing this around the kitchen. I absolutely love it.

Looking of alternative to Le Creuset!
Was looking for a Le Creuset alternative and did some research on Reddit and so many people recommended Lodge as a cheaper alternative that holds up really nicely. Can tell right off the back that it's heavy, well made and in doing my fist braising with it, the temperature was even and worked great. Interested to see how this holds up over time but really happy with my purchase thus far.

Multi purpose
Best purchase, size and quality. We use it for a lot more than I thought we would, oven and stove top. Clean up is a breeze.

Great pan, high quality
I've had this pan for over a year (Sept '24) and I use it at least 1 time per week. It heats evenly and is a joy to cook with. The heat control and stability is awesome. The consistent heat has allowed me to perfect my style of cooking. I use this pan primarily for meal prep of stews, pot roast, short rib and soups. For comparison, I also own a 3.5qt Le Creuset that I've had for a few years. I find the Lodge has a better fit cover than my Le Creuset. As far as durability of the enamel, its still in excellent condition. No rust on any of my pans. No chips or scratches, I take good care of my equipment and only use wooden utensils. For the price, would buy again.

Great quality product!
This has been a game changer. I don’t know why it would take so long to get one. Used it several times now delivered in perfect condition no chips or dents. Good quality. Easy to wash and maintain. Would definitely buy the brand again.

A must have in your kitchen arsenal.
If you are on the fence about a dutch oven - get this. Almost everything I make in a slow cooker I've made using this dutch oven and may never use my slow cooker again! From stove top to oven recipes, this thing is magical. Heat disbursement is far better than I expected. The item I received has no blemishes and arrived very well packed. KEEP THE LID SAVER TABS!!! This is packed well and includes rubber tabs that fit over the pot lip for the lid to rest on - you would NOT use them for cooking, but definitely want to use them for storage. This dutch oven is very heavy so be mindful of that - it WILL scratch your countertops if you're not careful. I always add some cooking oil to coat the inside evenly before cooking and this will help with clean up. Use a mild dish soap and sponge and it will clean up easily and last a lifetime. Highly recommend - and get the biggest one you can, you will be glad you did!

Quality Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
This Dutch Oven is absolutely beautiful! I read a lot of the Reviews here before deciding to purchase the 7.5 quart Dutch Oven. I recently threw out my large non-stick large stockpot because the coating was peeling. I was looking for a non-toxic replacement that I could use for soups, stews, boiling large amounts of pasta, etc. I haven’t cooked in it yet. I will update this review after I have used it for a few months. I wanted to post a Review now before I cooked in it because I read a lot of reviews which stated people were receiving damaged pots out of the box. Others complained their pot was damaged the first time they used it. My Dutch Oven came tripled boxed. I’m pretty sure this is to protect it in transit. It comes with rubber protectors between the lid and pot. The Owners Manual states to use these when storing it. The Manual also gives directions for heat levels and seasoning with oil the first time you cook with it. I am a home cook. I knew I needed to read the Manual thoroughly because I have never owned an enameled cast iron pot. I learned things I may not have thought of before cooking in it the first time. So please, take the time to read the directions for cooking, cleaning and storing. I think a lot of the negative reviews wouldn’t be here if purchasers took the time to read the Manual/Directions. This Dutch Oven is a naturally created pot. The enameled finish is made from glass. There are some slight bumps that are just a normal part of a natural finish. You need to treat this pot with care when cleaning and storing. Amazon is offering Returns through the end of January due to Holiday gift giving. This also swayed my decision to give this pot a try. If I’m dissatisfied after cooking in it, I know Amazon will take the return in the original boxes and refund me! Update 3-28-25 I have used my pot many many times to make various soups, stews, bolognese sauce, cook pasta, bacon, sausage, etc… I love this pot! Cleans up easily. I use a sponge with a scrubby side for anything that may stick. If discoloration takes place on inside bottom, I spray a little Clorox Cleanup with bleach and let sit a few minutes, use my scrubby side of sponge and color us back to original off white.
