Disappointing
I bought this for my kids to read, but it is full of poorly chosen words, grammatical and spelling errors. Although I've no doubt it is well intentioned, I was very disappointed indeed as a work as great as Imam Ali's Nahj al-Balagha deserves so much better. I would strongly encourage the publisher to exercise proper editorial control and peer review of such material.

The word of wisdom
The book gives children great insights and broadens the horizon of their thinking and analyzing several concepts of life through simple pieces of information and knowledge about who share the universe with us and builds wisdom in views and promotes appreciation in one's soul, heart and mind all in simple language that kids minds easily digest.

Expanding Horizons for Kids of All Faiths and No Faith
Inspiring, great artwork and very appropriate for kids!! A "peak" / "peek" at teachings of Islam that builds bridges.

To liken it to Nahj in any way is laughable.
Strong quality of printing, illustration and presentation; deficient, poorly-imagined content; a pathetic attempt at borrowing even thematically from the Nahj-al-Balagha. There is no semblance to any work of meaning or worth, Islamic or not. As a stand-alone, it is disjointed and disingenuous. What a sad case it makes for the reading choices our children face.
