Durable and great quality
Best clay ever. I'm so sad it will be discontinued. It's harder than most polymer clay, and that great because it last longer and it's less likely to break.

Bad batch? or Bad Brand? Do not recommend
Probably not buying this again. I first started with Sculpey iii and realizing that it was way too soft for actually working with, my husband gifted me some Kato, having done his research, he knew that this was much better and was noted for its strength. However, I had never met such a hard block of clay in my life. At this point, I truly don't know if Kato is just that hard out of the box, or if it was a very old batch. To even be able to use it I had to get my Exacto knife, cut chunks from it into tiny pieces, and mix it with a ton of clay softener. It took forever to make anything and was the reason I had a lot of hand pain to the point where my thumbs were red and raw from the amount of conditioning i had to do (this was not gonna go in the pasta machine. I have since moved on to Premo and have stayed with it since. I truly hope that it was just a bad batch, but perhaps if you're interested in Kato, buy it in person if possible. This was an unusable brick of clay, and unless you are willing to buy a LOT of clay softener, it's just better to get some other clay. Save yourself the time and pain.

Clay is too dry.
This package came a little died out. No amount of working the clay helped with the green at all.
