I am very happy with the Traininghead 100% Real Hair Mannequin Head. The quality really stands out. Real human hair – It feels natural and is perfect for cutting, curling, braiding, coloring, and styling practice. Good length – The 16 inches of hair are long enough to create many different hairstyles. Versatile use – You can wash it, condition it, straighten it, curl it, or braid it without problems. Comes with a clamp – The table clamp is very useful and keeps the mannequin steady while working. Good for students and practice – Perfect for cosmetology learners or anyone wanting to improve their hair skills. The hair may shed a little at first, but that’s normal and it quickly gets better after the first wash. Overall, this mannequin head is strong, reliable, and a great tool for learning or practicing new techniques. I definitely recommend

I really love this mannequin head as I am currently learning how to scalp braid, and do feed in braids. The hair in the picture looks like yaki but it's actually far slicker than it appears. That being said, I can still get it to hold a braid really well. It doesn't tangle easily at all and the distribution of follicles is really nice. The one downside is that it sheds considerably. I have to sweep the hair up off of the floor after use every single time even if I don't comb it. The hair on the head is thick so you don't miss the strands that fall out but they can be slightly annoying to clean up. This is more like 4.5 stars, the -.5 is just for the shedding but everything else is perfect. I like the clip it comes with a lot but depending on what you're doing you can definitely still work with it without the clip. Overall I recommend it!

My granddaughter loves this! Her mom has shown her how to do braids! She is almost done with the entire head. Bella is 7 years old and has learned how to do pony tails, mind you she never braided hair before. Soon she will be a pro!! Love this wig head.

I give this 4 stars because of shedding. I really like it, the hair mimics real hair and it does not get tangled easily. The hair doesn’t shed while manipulating it but it does when I comb or brush it. The shedding is excessive, it is a bit annoying having to clean the hair off of my clothes or the surface that is under the hair every few minutes. This is not necessarily a product for a professional but I must say it does get the job done. Someone that is an amateur or really getting into braiding and styling, this is for you. If it was less shedding I would say using this for professional use would be great. It had a very very faint chemical smell and I like the c-clamp it came with, it’s pretty strong and super easy to assemble. The texture of the hair is not harsh and hard. Ladies, it’s not your $1.99-2.99 beauty supply store braiding hair! LOL! It’s actually really soft but not to soft to be able to grip. You don’t have to worry about the braid becoming undone right after you do it, it holds it form. Shipping was really quick, came in two days, it actually came a day earlier than what it was suppose to. Overall, I like the product and it works for me. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get it to shed less that would be great! This is NOT A PAID review. I just made it as detailed as I thought it should be because some of these comments are vague or only talks about shedding. Just wanted to help someone else out with making their purchase...ladies we work hard for our money, don’t want it to be wasted!!

I ordered the 10" Afro Head and I am very happy... I wanted to practice sister locs and I love this Mannequin I looks exactly like the picture, I was easy to detangle I wet the hair with water and use a paddle brush. There was light shedding which is normal.. I put twist in after each section of brushing the hair

The mannequin doll is considered Afro hair, but when you wet is turns into 2c. On top of that it sheds a lot when dry and it was given to me tangle. It feels as though they are trying to imply that Afro hair is “nappy” because they have me a doll with tangled hair that was really 2c. The dolls hair length probably isn’t the same because of the excessive shedding and it’s kind of when I got it. I do like the doll, but I expected more.

The hair texture is great. My daughter loves it. A little pricey, but it's worth it.
