FarberwareStyle Nonstick Cookware Straining Saucepan with Lid, Dishwasher Safe, 3 Quart - Yellow

I've had another non-stick Farberware pot in the past and I was pleased with how well it help up. This one is much nicer looking, with a scalloped edge in a pastel yellow color. If your pots are hanging up somewhere visible this would be a nice accent color to have.The lip on the sides and the lid with holes make draining liquid from pasta or steaming veggies a breeze and are probably my favorite features of this pot. My lid fits the pot perfectly.The packaging does state that this is to be used on low-medium heat, but I have used it on my gas stove to boil pasta and have not noticed any warping or issues. I have also cleaned it in the dishwasher without issue.

I'd replace all my pots, pans, and appliances with retro-style ones in lovely pastel colors if I could. I'm a fan of the "retro-chic" appearance of this saucepan from Faberware. The pleasing yellow, scalloped exterior, and double pouring spouts caught my eye. While we've shifted to ceramic cookware over the years, this one, made from aluminum, became a new addition because my wife needed an extra saucepan, and I couldn't resist the look of this one.It heats well and evenly, and the non-stick coating is effective, although we know it won't last forever. Since we don't plan on heavy use, we expect it to last a good while. The handle is sturdy and stays cool. The tempered glass lid with drain holes feels durable, even though it doesn't sit perfectly on our saucepan; there's a bit of a wobble. It's not a deal-breaker since we have other lids that fit this pan, just sitting in the cabinets.While aluminum pans can stain in the dishwasher, this one's yellow paint coating seems to protect it from those unsightly marks. In summary, it's a good-looking non-stick saucepan at a reasonable price.

This pot basically stays out on my stove because I am always using it. Wash it on the top rack dishwasher shelf and its back out for its next use. The straining lid is CLUTCH and comes in handy on a million different occasions. The only complaint I have is it could use a bit of silicone as a hand rest to combat heat as you hold the lid on and strain. It gets quite hot and uncomfortable, though it is easier than dirtying a whole strainer for some macaroni!

Loved the straining feature of the lid of this pot, but my lid does not fit well. My kitchen is yellow, so I was thrilled to find this beautiful yellow pot. I will still use it, but I'm bummed about the lid. I thought this was a good name brand? So disappointed.

Loving this pan! Non stick bottom that kept Thanksgiving turkey gravy from sticking, perfect for cooking the giblets and straining off the broth. Lid gives a nice seal and pouting out of the pot is a breeze.Nice size / not too big and not too small. Not sold on the color but still hoping it doesn’t chip.
