We bought some coffee not realizing it was beans! Oops! The bag was already opened so i couldn't donate it and I didn't want to waste it. Apparently some grinders are very large. This is a smaller version. It's easy to use and easy to store. You can also use it for spices and herbs. I haven't tried that yet but plan to. It's easy to clean and came with a brush. It's one touch and so useful!

I chose this product because it promised a more quiet experience than what I got from my now-defunct blade grinder. On this one feature, it delivers. However, the quality of the construction is poor. On un-boxing this grinder, I immediately noticed that the main casing is off-center to the base, and inserting the detachable power cord causes the casing to flex noticeably, giving me a sense of flimsiness that suggests this product will not last as long as my previous blade grinder which I had for 10+ years.My first coffee grind seemed good but I found that cleaning the grinds out of the very deep cup to be more challenging that I would expect. The provided brush was nearly useless in cleaning out the grinder, and the cover is also difficult to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  If you want something ground finely, then this grinder will do it for you. For coffee, herbs, or nuts, this single grinder is all you need.This coffee grinder can, of course, be used for coffee, but it can also be used for various other purposes. No longer will you need a pestle and mortar for herbs, and nuts can be turned into a fine powder or crumble. This simplistic grinder allows you to press down on the cover to control how finely you want to grind your ingredients (though timing can be a bit challenging at times). The grinding chamber is spacious, allowing you to put a good amount of ingredients in.The only downside is the cleaning. You're not supposed to wash it with water, let alone using a wet cloth. To clean, you can use dry paper towels or the included brush to remove the remaining excess. Additionally, on first use, it's recommended to wipe the interior with a paper towel to remove excess metal powder (you'll notice the paper towel turns dark). Cleaning can be tricky when grinding oily ingredients, such as certain nuts.Currently, this is priced at $20. There is a 20% coupon that reduces this to $16. Compared to similar products on Amazon, this is fairly priced. However, some of the alternatives have a better design and a removable chamber, which makes them easier to clean. The pricing is not significantly higher either. Therefore, I'd go with an alternative if you want a grinder that is easier to clean. Based on price, I recommend this to some people.Overall, this is an easy-to-use multipurpose grinder. The only downside is the difficulty of cleaning it sometimes.

Item shipped only in the cardboard container it was packaged in at the time of manufacturing and was damaged during shipment. The item must have been dropped because the base was jammed up inside the metal grinder portion and doesnt sit flat/stable on the counter top. Very disappointing.

I really like the larger (5 oz +) grinding bowl than our old one had. With the larger capacity I can grind enough coffee beans to last at least four days instead of two. The cost was also better which is always a plus. I can also control the grind itself by holding the top down. I can pause and check to see if it is what grind we like. If the gtind is automatic you lose that control. We can also use it for other food stuffs, another plus. We are very pleased with this item and recommend it.
