Nice. Great looking blade. Heavy, thick, formidable, and sharp tracker knife for outdoors and defense if attacked. Has an intimidating like one of those movie knives like Cobra, Predator, Rambo and the Hunted. My only critique is handle is little to smooth to grip. I can see if the handle gets saturated from carving an animal, sweating or swinging the knife with force it because it’s heavy it could be slippery. Should look using a hard rubber handle like the K-Bar or more grip friendly. Other than that it was a great buy!

I bought this knife as a Christmas gift for my dad and I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this knife feels very durable, solid, and well-crafted. The blade looks very cool and you can FEEL the weight of the steel.I would highly recommend this knife and now I want one for myself!

Love the knife. Only issue I have is the sheath fit. It is extremely loose with no strap to hold the knife in. The knife will easily fall out of it

As stated in the title, I have tried alot of survival knives to find , what in my mind, is the best knife all around. I looked at knife steel, handle materials, how the sheath was made and materials used for it, and last but not least, thought put into the knife for people that actually use it for it's intended purpose for a extended amount of time. Ok so, this knife...starting with the obvious, it's made in China, they obviously have a good relationship and close controls on materials and quality, as this detail has no bearing on the knife itself. From all I have looked at, materials, knife steel, sheath materials and thought put into this knife, someone else at this company actually has put it around the track many times. The handle is outstanding as it fits your hand perfectly, for a no fatigue experience. Period.My knife is the canvas composite handle. The knife steel takes an edge, holds it, and looks to be a blade that with a little care here and there, would outlast any Rambo you could give it to. I saved this for last, because for the 5 stars I gave this, you can believe that it truly earned it. The thought, and materials, fit and finish of this knife, it would leave you to believe that they used the US military for testing, tweaking, and coming out with the finished, polished product that it is. In all areas of the sheath alone, down to the overall weight and balance of the completed product is for lack of a better term, outstanding. The knife (meaning all of it) is like they took 50 years of environmental and Friction testing and put it to a knife you would be ok giving a veteran for a gift without being embarrassed. Those who know what I mean there, know that's saying something. Last thoughts.... I normally on any knife I have, liked having a ferro rode, but I always used the back of my blade to spark it. I really like the ferro rode and sparking tool, and how they are secured on the sheath....you literally would have to break the sheath to accidentally lose the rode or tool. Which means it's doubtful you would lose them ever. And the kidex style sheath is superior to leather, just for the simple fact of water....if you are in the rain, go swimming or fall in, you are covered. IF I was to say something that this product could use, in my opinion only, maybe put a small storage spot on it for holding a small amount of fire tender/starter. But, hey, that's what your backpack is for. GREAT KNIFE.PERIOD. (Sorry for the book I wrote, but maybe this will be the only review you would have to read) oh yeah!, I'm a field service engineer in Robotics. I just love survival/camping. I don't take a shipping container full of stuff/creature comforts. I take my backpack, a good pair of boots, good outdoor clothing, my gun, and ....oh yeah, a GREAT KNIFE. With these , I could go indefinitely. Not an Amazon employee nor a Holtzman employee. Don't just survive...thrive.

Very disappointed in the quality of this knife. Noticed the DS Steel upon close inspection was pitted and/or scratch that seem like mini fractures. Basically? This knife is questionable with what I deem 'stress factures and is now beyond repair. Obviously showing signs no-one did a quality inspection before allowing it to leave as the flaws are obviously noticeable. I've dealt with more than my fair share of "seconds" and this knife wouldn't even qualify for that distinction. I'm sure after continued use it will develop various scratches and some marks, BUT right out of the box it has no expectation of looking like this. I would expect a "brand new" knife from a very reputable manufacturer with high marks would be or should be worth the money invested ....Overall....? Below terrible. Knife ordinarily would be boxed up and returned with a note to either replace or refund, but the aggravation to return is not worth it. And I do not want to risk passing this along to someone else who may or may not know better. I will add this to my collection and probably will "bury" it to avoid the frustration that I now have a knife that is practically non-functional. Purchase at your own risk, but upon receipt do a thorough inspection.

I received this product a little while back and it appears to be a great overall product and well constructed. It also has a very hard blade of good quality. I feel that’s it’s better than the Tops blade tracker knife.

Awesome quality 9.5 score .. should put a safety latch because its not a tight fit ./ just a very small thing .. but it’s so sharpe !! Which is perfect but it falls out!!

This is a great knife multiple uses feels great in the hand it is a beefy knife the bonus ferro rod and striker is great the sheath is good a little tight hoping with use that it will get easier to get out but over all great knife
